Since I read about the unseen university library always have obsesed with the place, I mean a board game in that setting would make a great dungeon crawler in my opinion.

The librarian is an excellent character. Would he be the dungeonmaster?

I wouldn't mind a little Death and the Watch. Maybe the Luggage.

Hmm... That would have made the Hobbit interesting, 13 dwarves would have made quite the dwarf toss line! 😂

They could have launched Bilbo all the way to the Misty Mountains.

I would love a Discworld rpg. Especially one that isn't gurps based. Modiphius has done good work, so I trust them to do well with this. I have my copy of Thud, as well as the Ankh-Morpork board game. I'd like to see a game based around the Watch, since they are my favourite books.

Did you ever play the Guards! Guards! board game? I never heard much good about it, but (like most Discworld games) it was very pretty, and you got to be a member of the Watch in it.

after Siege of the Citadel, i'm never touching anything that Modiphius is involved in ever again. Shame that they keep getting cool licenses.

It's a shame what happened with Siege. I saw they sold off the excess stock a while back. Of all the stuff they do, I only play Rangers of Shadow Deep at the moment. I did have Call to Arms but I thought it was pretty bad.

Personally, I just want a copy of Thud. It's unsurprisingly rare in the U.S.

I know you can get a nice version in a bag with a cloth board from the Discworld Emporium website, which ships internationally, but it's expensive, and I expect the international shipping costs would be rough.

Modiphius the company that delivered moldy board games to KS backers without an apology or replacement parts for Siege of the Citadel after years of delay. I will never support them again. As a Discworld fan, it's a shame they were given the license because of their ethos.

It's a shame what happened with Siege of the Citadel. I thought they did finally replace components before they had the sale for all the remaining stock. Disappointing to hear they didn't. Apart from Rangers of Shadow Deep and Skyrim Call to Arms I haven't had much experience with them, but hopefully they will have learned lessons and will do good things for the IP.

@@AlwaysBoardNeverBoring Modiphius did have posts claiming they were fixing issues on a case by case basis. By my experience and others on BGG were not fixed or replaced.

@@AlwaysBoardNeverBoring And I am not saying people should boycott them, but I would be wary of crowdfunding anything from them. I also do not care for their 2d20 system, but loved their 1st Ed Achtung Cthulhu stuff.
