I feel your pain. Last week my my hanging succulents all fell ion top of my potted succulent/cacti collection when the tension rod failed. What a mess. Using all the broken off leaves from my burro’s tail to experiment on different propagation techniques. But still rough. Lesson learned.
Oh, no, Mel!!!! I am so sorry to hear that. Oh, your burro's tail must have taken so much time to clean up. The great thing for the both of us, is that we are in the growing season. They will be faster to come back now. But, I agree, it is still rough. Happy Wednesday and thank you for sharing.

Omg Rachel I’m so sorry I know that’s frustrating!!! Sending hugs Tomorrow will be a new day and a better one And you DONT need makeup. You’re beautiful without 💜💜
I was just thinking how truly beautiful you are when you commented on wearing make up next time. You are so so lovely both physically and your amazing kind spirit. I’m so sorry about your cabinet crash! What a heart break!
LOLOLOLOLOL!!!!!! You know I wanted to cry. My kids were looking at me with a look of horror in their faces. I had to hold it in. I can't stop laughing with this comment. I needed that. I will remember this when I am sad about the cabinet.
Ohh sorry about this incident - more happy no one was injured🙏🏾you’ll get your plants back ur a good plant mommy and they know it was accidental ! Thanks for sharing!
I feel your pain. Put all of my plants outside for spring rain. Anthuriums, Albo, Constellation, Banana plants etc. Unexpected hail battered my plants and one didn't make it (Peperomia Luna). I lost leaves etc. had to cut many to start over. Don't worry, the leaves will grow back and you will never make the same mistake. As you are repotting, you can use that time to amend your soil, change pot sizes etc. Your plants will do even better. That is what I did and my Stingray Alocasia which took a beating is about 2-3 feet tall now.
Oh, no! I'm so sorry to hear that! That must have hurt so badly. I appreciate your positive outlook on going forward. Yes, we can regrow and repot to get everything back on the right track. Thank you so much. Happy repotting.
@@lotsofpots.Rachael Always keep in mind, they are only plants. I had to say that to myself when my wishlist plant rotted (Thai). I learned from that experience and now I have one that is flourishing. Thanks for being so honest. You can cry for a half an hour and that's it.

I would have cried!!!! Glad your kids, hubby and fur babies are ok And your plants will grow back nice and beautiful 💜 I’m glad your family supported you too!💚💚💚💚
Hey Janee!!! Yes, the support was priceless. They were so sad that it helped me to keep it together. Even Marshmallow was standing in the distance looking at me with droopy eyes.
thank you so much, Regina! My family were so sweet about this. That was a huge help. I am really happy I shared this video. I didn't want to talk about it at all, but I knew that it was something to help get over the hurt. I appreciate your support.
Ohhh RIP leaves. 😢 I hope all the actual plants are ok. They will grow back and recover. ❤ Also, dang girl, your bare face is gorgeous!! I wish my skin glowed like that!
thank you so much, Mandy. Yes, the base of the plants are all fine. A lot of them still have leaves left on the plants. I will just have to wait for new growth. It is the growing season. That is another plus. Again, thanks so much!!!!
Oh my Rachel!!! I empathize with you!!! It was special to all of us!! Well, see it positively…you pruned the plants and should have more then one of each. 😢
So sorry butterfly! What a shocker! Glad you just had leaf damage and it is up and running stronger than before! Those anthurium leaves…….are so beautiful! Please update how the Thai and anthurium recover! Keep those wings up! Love to you and your family! 🩵tina
thank you so much, Tina!!! My Thai is left with one leaf. I was able to save the latest stem. I am hoping it is enough to grow a leaf. If not..... I will just have to wait longer.... It makes me sad but she will be back. thank you so much for your sweet support!
Hi Rachel, I was so upset when I saw that you was talking about your cabinet crash. That is very devastating. I can understand how you feel after putting all that work into your plants and your cabinet and for them to get injured from that. The good part of it you do still have the roots so they will grow back and no one got hurt.
Hi Roslyn! Thank you so much. This hurt so badly. I'm just so happy no one got hurt. I'm sure everything will grow back big and strong. Thank you for your comfort and encouragement!
Thank you so much, Annette. Thank you for your kindness on the no makeup. I was so sad I just couldn't put on makeup. I appreciate your kindness. Enjoy your evening!
Ah man Rachael! i feel for you so much! I'm essentially devastated if i drop and break one plant. 😢 ugh. There are days though i can get over it, depends on the plant 😅 Your family is just so sweet. ❤
Hi mel!!! thank you so much. I am still in shock over this. Yes, it is hard to get over damaging our plant babies. I am so clumsy; I drop and break plants all the time. but I do not usually do it in a group setting. that's just too much to handle. LOL. They will recover....
Oh no 😢 I am so very sorry that happened to you. I am sure after you revamp her she will be back to her glory in no time. Sending you some virtual hugs.🫂
Hi Jillian! Thank you so much for the support. You are right. They will be back. I just have to wait for them to recover and start growing again. I will happen. Happy Wednesday to you!
💔this is so sad. Sorry for the leaf injuries. With your loving care you’ll definitely have a new growth video posted. With some brainstorming you’ll improve the plant cabinet.
Thank you so much for your vote of confidence, Lisa!!! I am shopping around for what will make it better. My husband wants to add a small ledge. I think that will be the direction that I go in for this. Thank you for your sweet support!
So sorry that your plants fell.😟 I feel bad about your Thai as I heard they’re not easy to take care of & leaves take a while to grow. I’m glad you still love the cabinet as it’s beautiful!
Hi Carol!!! Thank you so much. I really appreciate your support. I was so broken hearted about this, but I know that they will grow back. The hardest part is that these were all of my favorite plants. The two I had taken out of the cabinet just a few days before this happened would have suffered so badly if they were still in there. I am so happy I moved them. Yes, I still love this cabinet. We will work to make it better. Thanks again for your sweet support.
Wow! Sorry to hear that was a spectacular setup! Water and soil can be heavy. I know you will rebuild or buy something that can handle it. Be careful and take care!
thank you so much Robert!!! Yes, the soil and water must have added too much pressure. I have learned a very good lesson with this. thank you so much for your support!!!
Hi Rachael. You look beautiful, especially for what happened. I'm so sorry about that. I know how important and special all your plants are. I'm happy to see you in good spirits. What do they say? This, too, shall pass. You take care, my friend.
Thank you so much, Jackie!!! Yes, this too, shall pass. None of my children (human or fur) were hurt. I have to focus on the positive. I have been enjoying the time I have been repotting and securing the damaged plants. It will be ok. Thanks again.
Oh no😱. I am convinced that breaking off a leaf is one of the most painful experiences as a plant parent. However, you are the perfect caretaker for them....and by the way, that cabinet was like...."no ma'am, you will not put this one one me". Don't feel bad, they will grow back healthier than ever💚
Hi Yvette!!! Thank you so much for your support. Yes, one broken leaf is hurtful, but a whole basket full......... girl. After the talking to that I got from that cabinet, I know what I did wrong. I will try to make things better. I am still sitting with my face pressed up against the window all day. there are only a handful of plants in it now. Yes, I agree. this happened during the growing season. they will recover nicely. thanks again!
I'm sorry that happened to you!! Maybe putting brace bars will be more sturdy for your cabinet to hold your plants. Things happen honey. I'm glad no one got hurt. Thai Constellation are now 30 dollars at big box stores. I encourage you to get one. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you, Elmer! You are right. I can always replace anything that got damaged beyond repair. My thai still has one leaf. I will be on the lookout for a big box store find. Thanks for your support
Sorry about the cabinet and your plants. Thank God no one got hurt. Grow your plants again and record the progress and take pictures. Let us grow together. It does hurt. I wish I had better words to say. 🪴Happy Planting🌿

I have a video coming out Friday evening and Rachael, I made a major mistake here that cost me quite a few plants. Recent purchases that were growing beautifully. I'll let you see the video then you'll understand. I did cry, I won't lie. But I can only imagine your horror and the mess. The bottom line is you are okay, your family is okay and you'll bounce back along with your plant babies. I'm sorry for you but we all experience things like this. Our hobby is a messy one sometimes.

Sorry about this disaster. Wow, I also have a rule of not spending more than $25 for a plant, I refuse. If I want an expensive plant that bad I will just buy it small and grow it myself, that's where the satisfaction is anyway.
