Good evening I really love this video I laughed from beginning to end. Love that the kids really loved doing the video too some of the names your daughter called them was so funny.
Yes, they are very vocal. Whenever I put them on skewers, I lose the leaves because I don't let the plant give me the signs of not being happy. I'm still learning with this one
I over water my Alocasias, too. I have never had an Alocasia leaf get stuck like that either. Your silver dragon is beautiful! I have yet to find an Alocasia cuprea.
I didn't think about that carol. That had to be what happened. The leaf and the stem are otherwise very strong, but I'm not sure why it snapped. This stem didn't emerge before the cabinet crash, but something tells me that was the problem. Thank you! Happy Monday, Carol!
Thank you so much for watching! I totally get it. I wish I could shake this addiction to Alocasia. They are very needy. I'm on with that? I really can't leave them for very long.
Hi Regina! That is a lack of moisture. You are either taking too long to water or or it needs more humidity in the air. If you put a tray under the plant with pebbles and water, that can be the solution. Just be sure the bottom of the plant is on the pebbles and not in the water. As the water evaporates, the plant will get the added humidity that it wants. 😃😃😃
I want to pet Maxi!!! 🐶🩷🩷🩷 And I learned a lot from this video! I recently just cut off a yellowing leaf a mo th ago or so from my one and ONLY alocasia lol- a black velvet. I won’t do that anymore. I’ll try not to. Yellow leaves make me mad😂 This was very informative Rachael! Annnnd now I want a dragon and pink one! Where did you get your pink one
Your beautiful black celvet is one of the harder Alocasias. I'm sure you will do just fine. The pink dragon is from Trader Joe's. They have great growers. The plants are very healthy!
They are a handful. I love having mine in my cabinet because they are limited to how much they are exposed to. I have to check on them every single day. The frydek is one I was afraid of for a long time.
And your daughter is beautiful!!!
Thank you! That's my boo bear 🐻
Awe, your daughter is such a good sport! Pop quiz on her day off is just mean! lol 😁 Thanks for the Max cameo - too cute!
Yes, she was an excellent sport! We had a lot of fun with this. Happy Sunday!

Thank you, Jackie! Do you have a Trader Joe's? I went this morning. They had another shipment, only cuprea this time.

Hi Vee! Thank you so much
Happy Sunday! Very informative. Now I know why I got yellow tips on my Alocasia. Thank you. Take care.
Yay! I'm happy this was helpful, Shelby!
What a fun way to get acquainted with plants and your beautiful daughter. Thanks for the info, I loved hearing about a beautiful death!
We had so much fun laughing through this recording. It's just a random video having fun! Yay!
Rachael and Crew!! Cute. Don't feel bad baby girl, my score would be 00. I'm so clueless, hence why I'm here to learn all I can.
Lol! Baby girl was content re- naming all of those plants. She loves pothos!
It was fun having your team with you today Rachael! I was wondering if that leaf stopped unfurling because the stem as snapped. Thanks for sharing!

I have zero Alocasia! I have had them before, and they left me! Anyway, good video about various problems!
Thank you so much for watching! I totally get it. I wish I could shake this addiction to Alocasia. They are very needy. I'm on with that? I really can't leave them for very long.
Her lifeline ( your editor) really came through.❤
Yes, he did, Julia! He normally reminds me of the names of the plants.
🪴Happy Planting🌿
Hi lady June! Happy Monday! Enjoy your week!
What’s the fix when the leaf tips turn color?

His name is Bob.
I had to cut everyone of mine down to the nub and I think my Fridek got fried. I don't care for that plant.
