i was a people pleasing woman but when GOD told me: "im too friendly and i talk too much" i got my freedom and im walking in confidence of truth.
I feel like this is my always wanting everybody to be happy even to the point of sacrificing my own happiness and self worth

I'm still listening. I used to be People Pleasing queen 👸🏾. God delivered me from it in progress couple years ago. It's not until a month ago, God woke me up @3AM to read Ezekiel 23. Then God told me People Pleasing was my idol; God compares idolatry to prostitution. And when we have idols, the consequence is the idol(s) will eventuay turn on us. Thus, the resentments, the reason why people we please while compromising ourselves would turn on us, betray us, disrespect us, use us, degrade us. Because I had asked God "why is it that the people I helped out the most, are the ones who can never be there for me?" The Ezekiel chapter was my answer. Yes, the truth hurt my feelings deeply, and then I took ownership and repented to God. People Pleasing is a form of idolatry. Wow, I never knew! 🤯
Wow ya just said my whole life in one video ! At 33 now literally I’m just now finding my identity. My whole life I been stuck doing what others thought was best for me and scared to think for myself because I never wanted to hurt feelings or wanted to be liked accepted. Man!! Im just glad God is a patient and graceful God . Now I don’t care who I lose because I lost too much of myself and hurt God enough !

When I discovered the root issue: it wasn’t that I didn’t know who I was, it was that I didn’t TRUST who I was! So I would people please to fit in! God set me a part & I spent so many years fighting that.

PEOPLE OF GOD ON THIS DAY I DECIDED TO THOSE OF YOU WHO WERE ONLY INTERESTED IN THE BENEFITS OF MY INHERITANCE. NOT THE QUALITY OF MY LIFE OR STRUGGLES. I WILL NOT SHARE ANY MONIES WITH YOU. NO LOVE LOST WE CAN CONTINUE TO BATTLE THE DEVIL AND SERVE JEHOVAH GOD. I'M INTEREST IN THOSE OF YOU WHO ARE TRYING TO WIN SOALS EDUCATE AND EQUIPMENT HURTING PEOPLE AS MY MISSION IS TO STRENGTHEN AMERICA . OPEN DOORS AND PROVIDE STABLE LIVES IN THE COMMUNITY. Just found your channel- THIS IS ABSOLUTELY WHAT I NEEDED TO HEAR!!!!!!!!! I’m working on a book about this - and yet my hesitation is that I know that many I love will not want to hear all the hard truths… but I know GOD WANTS ME TO SPEAK! There’s such freedom when we stop worrying about doing what pleases others - and instead do what God gave EACH of us to do!!!

That's EXACTLY what Faith is Ezekiel. Faith isn't NOW...but real genuine faith is fully believing and fully trusting in GOD, in His word because HE SAID IT and He is a bond to His word..GOD cannot separate Himself from His word. Thats why He said the world will pass away But MY WORD SHALL REMAIN..

The end was so beautiful. The police metaphor was really was beautiful and impactful. Crazy as it is to admit, it's amazing that God can feel like that at time. There's a fear there but also, for good cops, they're there to help us. They're here to protect. We can trust a good cop. My God, this is good.

I think I misunderstood 😕 about love your enemies that's why we have to learn some things about yourself but God thank you jesus. My story is a driffrent but there is food for thought about some things for me. Thank you jesus for this infromation that will help 🙏 us.
I have a question... when you recieve your healing and renew your mind concerning this matter, how do you teach your children so they won't be subject to the same people pleasing behaviors? Especially when you notice the same patterns that you were delivered from in your adolescent children? Prayer is my best answer- cuz that’s a delicate thing- teach them to please God and just cover them in prayer!!!! Our advantage as Children of God is prayer!!!! So when ya don’t have the answers- prayer is where it can be found :) God bless
