- Hello beautifuls. This is my Life Book!!!! Eeeeh, I bound my early because I do my lessons early. But because it's bound with big spiral rings, I can take pages out and add others to it, awesome eh? :) If you want to make your own Life Book, come and join us on Life Book 2013, you'll be learning from an amazing array of mixed media art teachers and bind your own book by the end of the year. Tam, I am so excited for LifeBook 2020! I am all signed up and running through all the goodies you sent, one of which was videos on how to bind in the FAQ. That led me here, obviously, but I just wanted to tell you how every time I open something new of yours, it's so serendipitous because you and I just keep connecting in different ways. This Wild Geese Poem, "You do not have to be good..." is my absolute FAVORITE POEM! My pottery instructor here in Monterey in college many years ago read it to us. He was one of my favorite instructors too, always had classical music playing and read poetry and helped us get inspired and learn new clay techniques. Anyway, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that poem and love you! So excited for the next coming year with you all
Yes, and in a good way. I guess it's also because of the emotional/spiritual components in the art and the courses, that has made it not just an art journey but a spiritual one, too. I feel I've grown so much this year, and Life Book has been a big part of it. 2012 has been a big and significant year for me! And I'm quite happy with my new painting titled 2012, and it wouldn't be possible without the journey we shared.
It's really beautiful. Not only do I love your art... I love all the paper you've chosen and the vintage wallpaper / photo album feel to them! They look almost like paper you'd see lining vintage Nancy Drew books! ♥

I love your art style. Makes me want to drop what I'm doing and go play in my own journal. I am still learning to do faces. Right now all my faces seem to have a surprised/shocked facial expression no matter how I try not to...lol.
NO YOU DON"T! I signed up in 2012 and is wonderful, there are step-by-step lessons and you will be amazed what you can create! And it's not about making yours look exactly like anyone else's. Believe me, it's about the process and how it makes you feel not about the technical art ability! You'll learn a lot and you won't regret it if you do it. I'm so excited about getting started in 2014! Major resolution to develop my creative side!
Hi Tam! I was wondering what kind of material the pages are! They look thick like chipboard maybe or some just look like scrapbook paper. Either way, this is gorgeous!

thanks so much angel! the paintings were initially done on 14o lbs watercolour paper and then glued onto scapbooking pages, they are thick now! :D

I created my own Lifebook! myLifebookcom is a Complete Life-Development System that helps you create the best life you're capable of living. My Lifebook depicts my beliefs, visions, purpose & strategies in 12 categories of life. I'd love to integrate beautiful artwork/pages like yours into my current "Lifebook".
