OMSI 2 | Studio Polygon Renown | Version 1.04 Update | Can It Get Any Better?

Hello and welcome to another OMSI 2 video!
Today we're going to be taking a First Olympia liveried Volvo B10BLE Wright Renown on the route 83a from Waivesworth Interchange, up to Westfield Police Headquarters. We're using the Studio Polygon Renown and the Yorkshire Counties 3 map addons.
So the Studio Polygon Renown has been updated to version 1.04 adding a variety of things such as sound files, patches and fixes, as well as new features such as the engine cooling quicker when the bonnet is open, and warning alarms when the engine gets too hot. I genuinely didn't think this addon could impress me more, but I was wrong!

How do you get the update to this? There appears to be no patch on the website and there is nothing to update it in OMSI 2, I am still stuck with the original textures and broken Wayfarer 3. The original compatible route WC3 also now has depreciated IBIS core so no longer seems to support any HOF file correctly.

Oh trust me, I hate DTG for their laziness. I quit TS years ago now, because at least with OMSI devs, you get full products with some effort involved, especially with SP and MS

I love this bus, just a shame it does have a noticeable performance hit when I drive it - though I do get the feeling it's mostly down to OMSI's ancient architecture more than the bus itself.
Does seem strange nothing else seems to have gotten anywhere near as authentic as modded OMSI even after all those years of it being out.

Hi joe! Nice video, on Omsi 2 I have the properties set as the normal game but it wont stop putting me into the Editor mode, I have bought the Streetlite just before this aswell.. I had also noticed something while I was driving Scania Enviro400MMC on the X6 from Evesham, it kept pausing game without me even pressing P the day before Omsi wont let me play. Have you noticed the game pausing without you pressing P?

Honey even the veiling drops my fps as an ai bus 😂 So I wouldn't try the renown as ai, but its nice to know that it would atleast work as it !

Try the PN02 spec in 35 degree weather, that thing gets really hot, loud and slow :)

They need to add the aircon pod setvar, one of these Renown Variants use to have back in the day, and the cooling fan sounds absolutely amazing from the inside but outside you won't hear it much.
