I would like to request prayer. I became paralyzed in 2020 at the age of 32. Believe it or not, people who are in wheelchairs, walking again is the least of their wishes/worries. Although desirable, there are secondary issues and pain that comes with not being upright. I would request for prayers of the pain I feel on a daily basis. It never seems to leave me. And it’s impacted my quality of life, it’s changed who I am and it’s like I don’t even recognize the person who I once was. The videos you guys make on the gifts, really opens up my eyes as I grew up in a Baptist church and was never really taught that the gifts were for today but of the past. Working on my faith and walk with the Lord daily. Thanks guys.
Praying for you! May the Presence of Jesus pour down upon you bringing deep healing to your body, mind, heart and soul. In Jesus Name. Yes and Amen! ❤️🩹❤️🩹❤️🩹🙏🙏🙏
I was diagnosed who was a nerve damage and told I would never be able to walk again.. 12 surgeons told me I would need a neck fusion but never walk again . In my spirit I did not believe them . Other doctors refused to see me but I found a doctor who was honest about my condition and he said it was as bad as anything he had ever seen . He said he would give me a 60 % chance at recovery and gave me 30 days to let him know Yes or no . I am walking now but at 71 healing is gradual . I am full gospel and have seen more miracles than I can remember when I go to God in prayer . I am asking Father in Jesus name to give you a gift of healing. I have learned to listen to Holy Spirit and obey what I am told . I will wait on God with you for your miracle .
Showing and not just telling is a hugely Biblical concept, but the main way we do that is by LOVE!!! (not that healing or praying and longing for healing for a needy person cannot or should not be a part of that, but it DEFINITELY doesn't come anywhere close to summing it up!)
I appreciate the comments about centering prayer for healing on love for people. Both my wife and I have dealt with several health issues, some which still remain. I find the most saddening thing about enduring illness in the context of a charismatic local church is that people are *very* keen to pray for you, but not so keen to listen to you. Speaking generally, but with more than one condition, I have found that a physical ailment gave occasion for people to treat me as an unfulfilling conquest when I was not miraculously healed. This type of content is a healthy challenge to me to take advantage of the regular opportunities that I have to pray for people. Just as truly, some of the best times I have had with people who were suffering was just in taking the time to listen to them talk about the things they cared about - not their illness.
I do not see responses to you, so I don't know if they didn't see yours, or they can't relate. We just started classes on healing with our precious pastor, and I will take a screenshot of your name, so I can remember to have you in prayer as I am praying. I know the Bible says by His stripes we are/were healed and He died not only for our salvation, but also our healing. However, I TOTALLY understand where you are coming from. So we TRUST the LORD REGARDLESS. We let others see HIS LIGHT SHINE in us and through us, REGARDLESS of what we're going through. Maybe, it is what someone might need to bring them to Christ. FOR ME, I WOULD RATHER GO THROUGH THINGS ON THIS EARTH AND HAVE SOMEBODY COME TO GOD, THAN STAND IN HIS PRESENCE WITH NO FRUIT FOR MY LABOR. I don't have the answers for the "ifs, whys and buts" on this earth. I do know we live in a fallen world and I have not yet watched the video and I am to do that. I would love my healing to be now, everybody already knows that I have problems, but I will keep asking and I will be praying and I will be GLOWING regardless! Be Blessed!
If appropriate was hoping to share some prayer requests far and wide. (Also running out of ideas of where to share this) First, I wanted to ask for prayers of healing for my Grandma who recently got heat-stroke and came within a literal inch of her life. Sparing a long story, by a miracle she somehow survived and I wanted to cover her in prayer as it's a very challenging recovery. Also prayers for wisdom on how best to tend to her needs would be much appreciated. Also wanted to ask for prayer for my mother, who recently had to get a biopsy. Not a fun deal, but prayers for healing or that nothing would be cancerous would be much appreciated. Also that the doctor would be able to get back with my mom quickly as that sort of news is hard to sit on. Much thanks in advance to whoever feels called to pray! I also plan on re-watching this video for sure.
I go to a charismatic church but have a hard time with the direction they take on healing. I recently saw your interview on Ruslan and loved everything you said. There are 7 biblical ways to receive healing: 1. The Name of Jesus, combined with faith, see Acts 3. 2. Pray to the Father in the Name of Jesus. 3. Praying in agreement with 2 or 3 ( or more) believers. 4. Calling for the elders, anointing you with oil and praying the prayer of faith. James 5:14 5. Laying hands on the sick, Mark 16. 6. Through the gifts of healing when the Holy Spirit is moving ( in a church service for example). 7. Getting healed on the basis of your own faith, because of the right knowledge about healing, knowing what belongs to you. So, there is always a way where you can have faith for, because faith is always required in all of these ways( and faith works through love) Blessings!
It's a strange thing but I rarely see Churches use oil, except for the Catholics and Anglicans, and perhaps the Lutherans? Im sure some others may do but its definitely not something seen in many protestant churches. Despite the clear instruction in James 5:14. I wonder what the reason may be?

Thanks guys for your discussion - loving your work / how you practice what you preach. A couple of thoughts, though: 1. I'm not sure it is helpful to view healings as the result of the gifts per se. There is a gift of Faith, but this should be distinguished from the measure of faith all believers possess - likewise, all disciples are called to lay hands on the sick, but we should pursue the gifts for more severe illness / injury. 2. What is the role of maturity/character development operating in greater measures of the healing gift? James 5:13-15 associated calling the Elders, faith, and healing. Meanwhile, other passages such as 1 Timothy 3:1-13; Titus 1:5-9 and others describe the character qualities needed to be considered to be an elder (from God's perspective- as God inspired Paul to write this)- and that this qualification can be lost through sin (1 Timothy 5:17-22). Note: I believe that God's perspective of "an elder" differs from many leaders in the local church with the title of "Elder". Could this be one of the reasons why we don't see greater measures of the manifestation of gift of healing- including dramatic healings/miracles?

One of the best programs of yours I've seen. Isn't it interesting that Jesus didn't refer to the gospel as the gospel of salvation. Before and after the cross it's the gospel of the kingdom, and right up to the end Mt. 24:14. Cessationists don't know the gospel of the kingdom, that is the essence of the problem. They reject everything associated with the kingdom, except salvation, and because of that they don't "obey everything I've commanded you." Are you really a disciple if you don't obey what Jesus commanded?

The gift of healing through prayer can happen with any believer when the Lord chooses to give the gift of healing in that particular moment. I don’t understand why Christians continue to be sucked into these unhealthy beliefs about the sign gifts. A gift is a gift. It is something that is given not grown in.
Why add to scripture to say what they meant is not everyone will be healed. Some it will only happen when they get to heaven. Show me a scripture that says you will not be healed here on earth? Use 6 logic you use against cessationalist.

I don’t understand why Christians continue to be sucked into these unhealthy beliefs about the sign gifts. A gift is a gift. It is something that is given not grown in.
I dont hear much about you talking about casting out demons. Jesus did a lot of casting out demons.
Why add to scripture to say what they meant is not everyone will be healed. Some it will only happen when they get to heaven. Show me a scripture that says you will not be healed here on earth? Use 6 logic you use against cessationalist.
Con- men. There are no gifts today. Notice the first thing they do is ask for money. All gifts are over. Rediculous.
I’d be careful you don’t even call it what it is. GIFTS!
False prophets!
