I used to live in Lawrence back in the mid 90s and went to OP and KC regularly. OP was considered one of the best suburbs in America then and if I'm not mistaken it still is.
Lol Overland Park is denser than kcmo and has a higher job density. And Johnson county KS has more jobs and a larger economy than Jackson county mo. Kcmo is a place full of shootings. There’s more jobs around the old sprint campus in Overland Park than downtown kcmo.

You should have continued south on Metcalf past I-435 to see some of the newer parts of OP.
