Thank you for this. I have found that it is women that shame and don’t help honestly. They don’t want to talk about it or maybe are protecting their own abusers or when you look like I do and are successful in career, etc. it baffles people who don’t understand. And he’s right. People will focus on what SHE did and WHY she did it. As if it would explain away why a man twice my size almost killed me. It is so shameful. And yes, it is men who mostly helped me get away, get convictions, and process my trauma. It is still hard two years out but I realized he is going either destroy me or most likely kill me.

Because she loved him and was afraid of him.

Because women like a-holes. The same things that attract her make him abusive.
In this day and age (and really since at least the mid 1970s), there are shelters, govt agencies, law, private orgs ALL specifically there to help abused women.
So, if a woman is being abused by a man and she doesn't leave or seek, she doesn't want it.

Violence against men by women, women to women and women to children is a bloody issue for everyone.

Yes, but if you're an abused man, trying to get help from anyone is like asking them to flap their arms and fly. There are very few to ZERO agencies, organizations, even homeless shelters any more for men. A few years ago, I think the BBC reported the closure of the only male only homeless shelter, even though the majority of homeless are men.
Women never stop abusing men. Feminists never tire of blaming us for everything wrong with the world, they tire of calling us names or even suggesting that all of us be killed. A UK politician asked for a curfew on all men.

Blaming a population of millions of men for the acts of a few seems wrong. By your logic, Ted Bundy was a college dropout, so all college dropouts are murderers. And hitchhikers were his victims, so all hitchhikers get killed.
