It's certainly the way forward.
I've been using it for years in bathrooms.
Especially laid over timber floors....then tiles.
Yeah might be heavy to work with....but never had any issues of movement, tiles etc.

I have just brought a 1200mm x 600mm x 12mm sheet of this board to fully line a small metal box that i am going to convert into a Lipo Battery Charging Safe so i can charge my RC Lipo Batteries safety & with peace of mind, just in case the inevitable happens.
Could you possibly advise me as to the best way to cut this 12mm board ?
Will only be cutting straight lines,

Can this be use to line an open fire place?

Hi, yes you can use our boards around the fireplace although it is important to be sure the adequate gap between the fire and boards is left. We would recommend 150-300mm gap and to ensure the heat transfer is no more than 100 deg C.
