What is the advantage of multiple-baseline design over the basic single-case design ?
internal validity
Because treatment is started at different times we can conclude that changes are due to the treatment rather than to a chance factor.
Isn'tn't this design just another way of saying that you are implementing the IV on various subjects? Still don't understand what the time delay has to do with it? Please give examples of confounding variables that could affect results.
