Did any of yours come with instructions? Ours keep beeping 3 times and we don’t know why. We got this as an emergency because our nature right power supply went bad.
I believe it came with instructions… but that means the temperature or humidity has dropped or to high. Either or. I’ll look for the instructions and let you know for sure.
@@Ms.Red18 day 3. I’m worried about the ones because of our other one having issues but hopefully it is early enough that it won’t be much of an issue. Besides the temp fluctuating somewhat it is keeping humidity. We will candle next weekend and see how things are going.
So far the humidity level has not been suuuuuper stable. I feel like I’m adding hot water often to keep the humidity level at LEAST in the 50-60s according the Texas A&M agriculture “safe” humidity levels. Any advice? :/ we’re on day 19
Are you making sure the top is closed completely? If you twist the top it shouldn’t move. That was something I didn’t catch right off. Also adjusting the vent in the back. I think I found comfort about a quarter way open. I think my average was about 46% humidity. Hatching day it got a bit higher. Assumed from the chicks being wet. I had a 90% hatch rate and 70% survival rate. I’m on my second hatch currently and only thing I did different this round was use distilled water.
Okay great! That’s about my humidity average also so whewwww that’s relieving. Thank you lol. I do have mine vented 1/3 of the vent. I had it halfway but it was not holding 😅 another question is how often did you have to refill water ? 🙃
@@soniarenee6636 I think as long as it’s over 40% it’s okay. It was pretty much every day! I used sponges before lock down to hold as much water as I could without risking the opening being full of water and having one drown.
Y'all are living the dream! Congrats. Enjoy
Lots of hard work and dedication, but we love it!
Did you put water in it when you Bearly got it
Yes! 150ml at a time until the humidity was above 45%

@@Ms.Red18 We think it has to do with the temp going up 2 degrees over the set temp. Hits 102.. beeps 3 times and then goes down to 98/99 and repeats.
@@bkarr81 yes! It’s the temperature. There’s not a whole lot of information for this incubator.
What day are you on?

Your knowledge is definitely expanding. You & and Mr. Red sure make a great team. ❤ u both. Look forward to seeing the new chics.
Always evolve! There is plenty of room for knowledge to take care of our family!
@Ms.Red18 can't wait to hear an update!!!
I had a 90% hatch rate. There are 3 lives from Friday morning through yesterday of the hatching!
A great job accomplished. Enjoyed watching the hatching of your new brood. Is that what you call them?
