I’ve been laying in bed ever since I got off work just letting my thoughts flow trying to dig and find why I am as lonely as I am
I’ve only ever tried to be the one who makes everyone look better and I won’t lie I’ve do such a good job at that
That my own family puts themselves on a pedestal and holds everything I’ve ever done over my head but then justifies it with giving me a little piece of some thing knowing I will not be rude because I’ve spent my entire life trying to make sure there okay with me growing up but they don’t see it all they see is a kid who plays them uses them even though ever since I was 15 I’ve done my own thing proving to them that I was trustworthy and respectful to everyone even if they wronged me in the worst way
All of the people who are closest to me are over thinkers and I know that because I’m and over thinker so I pay attention to how people look at me talk to me there whole personality is easy to read for me but I can’t help but think do they look at me for who I am

I’ve recently have gotten into trouble and my dad is a veteran and I know he tries to be the best dad he can be but he never stops and sees me as his baby boy the one who seen that his own father was broken and decided to try to put him back together as best a kid can but I mess up and I don’t do that as often as my siblings because I tried to pick up the pieces that they drop so I look like I don’t make mistakes so when I do I get into more trouble because im the kid who had to grow up fast so he can make sure his family doesn’t have to worry about anything I want to take the weight of the whole world and put it on my shoulders so everyone can finally be happy and together I can carry the burden as long as I see people happy but people only see it as me being selfish trying to be the best one so then I get into more trouble because I tried to be the one who could take the weight so I can just see someone happy
I want people to be happy and together because I know how it feels to be sad and alone my only wish is that people can have happiness but they won’t allow themselves to be happy

This made me think about my old engineering teacher, Mrs. Wilbanks. She was my favorite teacher. She was nice, understanding, basically everything that makes a teacher good.
Unfortunately, she had cancer (I don't know what type it was or what it affected). She missed usually 2 days or more a week for the first semester due to chemotherapy. She always tried to be there to teach us despite having the mental effects of chemo.
Around a week before Christmas break began, she didn't come in at all. I wasn't too concerned because she misses a lot of days. A classmate of mine let people sign a get well soon card for her. I'm glad I signed it and I hope she read it and remembered my name.
After Christmas break, we soon got a new teacher named Mr. Perkins (who is a genuine dickhead). About 2 weeks later, in 3rd period, I found out news I wish I would never have to hear. That morning, Mrs. Wilbanks was pronounced dead due to her cancer.
I wish I could have at least said goodbye.

Opposite for me. Makes me wonder how time flies and how I could have done so much better and things I would have done differently. I think of how am I going to even be able to overcome the problems I have coming ahead of me. Being optimistic and knowing that no matter what happens, I will be able to strive forward will be a future where I survive will happen, but at what cost? How many people will I let down, I feel like I fail to achieve expectations, and not be able to even reach my high goals I have set for myself. But this is only a temporary feeling right now. Tomorrow I hope to be as happy and as successful as ever, and can only take the path that has been set for me. Where it leads? I don't know, but one thing I know Right Now is that whatever comes my way, I will oppose anything that tries to bring me down and I will not go down without trying.
