I wish they made these boats with an optional .250'' bottom. All us guys up in the N east run these types of setups but they just dont do well with rock impact, making them a very pricey option versus repairing rivetted hulls. Still considering finding an older beatup one that I can pull the bottom and set it up on .250'' plate.
The factory water intake was covered and a lower water intake was put on the bottom of the foot. This allows you to raise the motor 5" to 8" depending on the model motor and what prop your running. A standard four blade prop might not have enough cup to run this high. The one Im using has triple cup.
Last time I checked 46\47 MPH. That's with the PowerTech PFS4 17". Don't know what it will do with a normal prop. Its not a very fast boat. It does draft shallow and run pretty skinny.
some serious water spray, might want to adjust the trim or depth on your shoe. looks to be too much trim as you will get more power by directing the stream of water just under the water surface and still be able to run 5 inches, we do this all day here in the northwest.
I have hit stumps in other brands and it bent the metal but didn't leak. The first owner of this one hit a stump running on plane and it has a dent but doesn't leak.
What is a Low water Pickup ? I have a 2072 MVT with a 90 hp Suzuki but it will not go in less than 12-15" and even then the prop gets a good sandblasting !

I have a 2072 it does just whats in the video I have a 150 4 stroke on a jackplate without a low water pickup I run skinny water all the time
