To be honest, if you’re driving a car across, all you can see is the concrete barrier (wall) on each side of you, and the road in front of you. Can’t see down.
I agree Brad, doesn't matter how many times I go over it, I still pull the camera to snap a few shots. Also just the excitement of driving over water is always amazing.
One of the most beautiful bridges in the world. Prince Edward Island to New Brunswick. Then from New Brunswick to Nova Scotia on Trans Canada highway in Aulac New Brunswick. Then from Aluc o Nova Scotia on highway 4 to Cape Breton Island
I love pei ..but when you across the bridge ...you can not see the bridge .and can not stand on the bridge without any serious reason.so it is like a simple road ..you feel when while the across.but we feel extra pleasant because we ..know we are on the bridge.i across it on 23 oct 2021.
PEI is one of out favourite Canadian provinces in Canada. No wonder they called the gentle island, people are very nice and friendly, it’s surrounded by many historical lighthouses and much more to explore. Thank you for watching the video and subscribing.
Put it this way, I’ve been there 5 or 6 times and that’s a long drive from Ontario but I simply love it. All Maritime provinces are my favourite. Can’t wait to go back again.
Yes there is. The way it works you can go in PEI for free but on the way out of the island you need to pay either at the bridge or on the ferry. Here are the costs. www.confederationbridge.com/tolls-fees
as someone who has never crossed this bridge, just the sheer length of it horrifies me
12.9 km (9 miles long).

I have to agree, it is for me one of the top 10 amazing bridges and I’ve seen many bridges including some in Europe.

Or CBC for short.
Too bad there's no physical marker of the NB/PEI boundary on this bridge.
That would be a great idea! They could of mark it with a line on the pavement and/or both Provinces flags.
Woooooowwwwww I am going there June 28 and so exited!!!!!!!
So how did you like it ?

@@azoreandronefanatic thanks a lot. Appreciate it big time. Planning on going next year.
I’m sure you will love it. Been there about 6 times and we love it and will return again.
PEI 🇨🇦❤️
It is indeed!
Awesome. This is roughly 150 km/h or 90 MPH if this video was in real time. :-)
Lol. Just imagine if I had left the real time? People would fall asleep. Max speed is 80 kms/h but it’s a scenic drive.
safe driving all canadians
You too my friend.
