Do you need crampons for this hike if you are going in the summer? And if so what kind would you recommend? We are going to try to summit this in the summer so we just want to be prepared.
Hi! Thanks for watching my video. Kahtoola microspikes or K10’s would suffice. You don’t want a crampon with a front fang. Depending on the amount of snowpack we get there could be hard ice and snow in the gully to the approach all year round. Best to be safe. 😁

Depending on the snow pack, late June or anytime throughout July.
