So informative, I have just finished (August) 4 weeks radiation and hormone treatment for my prostate cancer, I really wish you had do this before, everybody with a prostate cancer should see this before deciding on treatment.
Perhaps the best video I've seen dealing with prostate cancer and sex.
I first saw one of Dr. Mulhall's older videos a year or so ago and was immediately impressed by his vast knowledge, his straightforward manner and his obvious compassion for his patients. All of his wisdom and expertise are here. If I am ever in need of sexual medicine services, he will be my first choice for a provider.
Amazing talk! Urologist, this video should be playing in the waiting room on loop!
indeed
great talk, wish I knew this before my RP.
This is very encouraging information. Useful education. Now I know I have options.
Thank You for this!!!
This is an amazing talk. Would you PLEASE POST THE SLIDE on penile rehab pathway discussed?
Thank You so much for this video!! Im Grateful
If you have prostate cancer and are deciding on therapy this should be a MUST see.
World class presentation...thanks so very much. I have seen four different doctors from four different medical facilities to gather information on how to address my prostate cancer diagnosis. I have intermediate (4+3) on the Gleason scale. I take copious notes from each visit and I have stressed the importance of maintaining sexual function. Not one of the doctors has mentioned dry ejaculations. I am finding it difficult to get a full and completely accurate explanation of the risks and benefits of the different treatment options. Every week I learn more about treatment side effects that were not presented to me.
Look into Focal Laser Therapy. It's quite new, not covered by insurance, but has almost no side effects. Hallo's Prostate Laser Center in Houston is a great alternative to traditional 4+3 treatments.
Thanks for the suggestion. @@22000beachmom
We should compare notes I am also Gleason 4+3. Email?
Whatever you look at, the recurrence rate is important. Keep monitoring!
Hi, how did things turn out? Hopefully well.
This is a very good video.
excellent presentation,very beneficial for me
I had focal brachytherapy in 2020. I’m 68 and I don’t have ED or any issues with incontinence.
Dr. Mulhall presentation was excellent and help to inform me about taking low-dose PDE five inhibitors to help preserve the muscles in the penis, providing oxygen to the epithelial cells. None of my other doctors discussed this possibility with me as a result, I’ve started to use the PDE 5 inhibitors. prior to my radiation therapy and to help prevent erectile dysfunction. Great presentation!
All good information but I still don’t know if RP or radiation is the right answer.
Grand Man! What a Tour de Force! With Stage 4 Oligometastatic HSPCa, ADT for over a year plus Enzalutamide and RT, things don't look so rosy but I now think(ish) I know why. This video needs further viewing and digesting slowly....
where can we find the slides on penile rehab pathway?
Where can I find a doctor with a similar clinical orientation as Dr. Mulhall in Mexico City?
My wife will probably leave me. I had issues before I knew I had the cancer. That was how I knew something just wasnt right. My diagnosis mentioned intrusion. Wife has been already talking to every man she can find. I did ask for the radioactive pellets though. My condition was too wide spread for it. It is interesting though that I did have a sleep study before all this for another issue. The doctor had me raised the head-end of my bed about 2 inches with bricks. Well, my wife sleeps better, so therefore I think I do too.
Can castration help with prostrate cancer?
Sorry ladies the pressure is off...but I can still get off..and no mess..lol😅..your attitude and imagination is king
Regardless of how he colored it, you want the robot over the open prostatectomy. Less abdominopelvic scar tissue, shorter recovery, shorter hospital stay
My experience so far is im more worried about the after effects than the surgery or the cancer. I kind of think I should have been geting care for ED before I even received my diagnosis
I have a question I have a t2 stage gelson 9 I have no cancer in limp nose only in ribs met is that possible
Gleason 4+5=9, or 5+4=9?
Best to talk to an oncologist.
Voice to text doesn't handle medical terminology very well. Did you say "no cancer in lymph nodes, only a metastasis in the ribs"?
It all depends. It might be rare, however if the tests show that you have cancer in a rib, I would trust the tests.
No Metas teas in limp nose only left rib is that possible and stage 2 is that possible
I had radiation and it went well. But my testosterone has drop below 200 and I have no sex drive. I really need help😢
What kind of radiation treatment?
Absolutely, after go’ogling around I realized that Simmy Krotiel’s Bigger Blueprint was modified and you can make it bigger even faster, yep, what Simmy suggested before was pretty good, but the new stuff teaches how to make it up to four more inches bigger
dear sir i got radical prostatectomy due to ca prostate grade 3 no metastasis to lymph node’s or seminal vesicles only one nerve spared befor surgery I was sexually very active l am not diabetic so please my I gain erection again and what is your advice
thanks allots
I also did this and one year now and no erection
I believe you choose wrongly in getting the prosectomy but I'm nobody.
what was your Gleason
@@nickstrapko7549 Gleason 4+3
I would suggest seeing a sexual medicine clinician. Until you can get in, watch Dr. Mulhall's videos for background. Try to do any exercises and see whether you can get any recommended medication (I'd avoid cheap online meds; who knows what is in them, and you already have enough problems).
Funny, until recently I hadn't realized that Mario updated his favorite way to tackle ED and it's a relief! Although what he previously suggested was pretty good, it was a real pain to follow... I just go'ogled the latest in Mario's Thunderous Erections, it's so much easier and potent now!
