Hi I’m Sophia I wrote to you a couple of times how my teacher showed your videos to us I’ve watched you ever since. I live in Tasmania I’m ten years old now but want to say happy new year my dad watches you too you are so lucky living in USA 🇺🇸 god bless and keep going it’s helping me understand history ❤
Hey Sophia I hope I responded to your other comments. I get alot of comments and it is hard to answer them all but I try. I’m honored that you watch my videos and enjoy them. I have other Tasmanian’s who watch and Aussies too. I watch Dig It Detecting who is there in Australia. Do you watch them? I have a 12 year old and she helps me detect sometimes. She would go with me when she was 10. My wife homeschools and she is a school teacher too. I once taught college as a professor but I work as an Architect. Tell your teacher thanks for me.
Todd you and Scott had a wonderful day finding civil war relics. Beautiful area and glad you had warm weather to get out . Wishing you a very Happy new Year with many more adventures.👍👏😀
A great site, wowzers! And I am fascinated with the science behind the tones and the way the detectors interpret them. I have a big science project planned, I am still gathering the proper equipment. I would bet they would sound better if moisture was elevated. I have dug several targets that have iron attached yet but have a copper disc embedded and they sounded great. We have a program called the Sonar on our XPs that really pulls out these types of targets. Great video, I hope yall are having an excellent new year, and be safe!
You will have to let me know your settings for the Sonar. I have and XP Deus 2 and will be featuring it in upcoming videos but wow, I don't like how it interprets shotgun brass.....I think the ML is able to do this better....but I'm still learning the Deus.....Happy New Year guys!!!
Hello from Knoxville my friend. Beautiful site to detect that would be so much fun. I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and I hope you have a great New Year. Say hello to the family for me.
The "J" hook was used to attach items to a knapsack and to strap the knapsack to a soldier. They were also attached to a rifleman's belt for extra support. These were very important pieces and harder to find than bullets and most other civil war items......they are my firsts.....thanks for asking. Happy New Year!!
I was kinda of thinking that but always love to learn history and you explain and give a lot of information on your videos would love to meet up with ya some day and go on a hunt with you I am from Cumberland Md a lot of history in my area I just have a hard time finding out where to find it I have been to the court house and have tired to use web sites others use but it’s like there is no mapping for my area unless I am not looking in right places God Bless and happy dirt fishin…Virgil
Feel free to email me Virgil. I travel through Cumberland MD quite a bit. Your not that far from me. I can give you pointers and tell you how I do it. There is lots of old history there in Cumberland. I have never hunted there....Wills Creek has some very old properties.
That would be so awesome I have a couple of spots close to my parents house that I am going to ask for permission I grew up in Rawlings Md and I know a good bit about the cresaps and some places they built in the mid to late 1700s I would love to go on a hunt with sir I am itching to get out there now but weather has put a damper on my dirt fishin lol I will definitely email you so we can exchange information God Bless and happy dirt fishin…Virgil
