When I was around in the early eighties in high school... I had access to crap guitars. It wasn't until I started working that I could buy guitars from pawn shops. OMG! Now I realize what great deals and what great guitars I let go. But I still have my Stratocaster I got from one of those pawn Shops from down on Commonwealth Ave. and Harbor Blvd in Fullerton, CA. I know it's gone now. So am I. I indeed do wish there were all these great budget and medium priced guitars around then. The prices of the guitars I had then have all gone totally insane!
I feel like Harley Benton should've gone for the Ebony fretboard instead of roasted jatoba; elephant in the room: this is clearly a LTD EC1000 but I could've sworn I've seen this line before
Thank you, someone noticed that the jatoba looks just off with the satin black and the purple burst finish of this guitar. Thomann should have used the same ebony fretboards they used on the fusion series.
I have seen somewhere the p90 version of SC III Custom, for me that would be the go for but like you said it is for modern players, I am more ambient, classic rock etc guy. But I have just bought a HB SC 450 P90GT and it is fun to play.

Hi Leigh,I have the mk2 of the satin black custom,but with humbuckers,and it’s a fantastic guitar for the £250 it cost me.
