I have to say that I face the same battle pertaining to my flesh submiting to the Holy Spirit that indwells me. If It is a battle for me even with the indwelling Holy Spirit, how much harder was it for the leaders of Israel in the Old Testament who didn’t have that advantage? My prayer is that the Holy Spirit be given dominion over every believer’s heart in this process of sanctification that we all are involved in. May it be by our choice that we submit to the Holy Spirt as God molds us into the spiritual image of His Son, our Savior, Jesus Christ. I also pray that my comment will start a conversation with other believers who might share what God is saying to them about the scriptures that you just read. It is very obvious to me that you are being led of the spirit in your choosing what to share from the platform that He has given you. To God be the glory and may His peace be upon you and yours.
