@@skyness_engine have you tried exporting as an image sequence and reassembling in a video editor? It leads to better quality in general as long as you export with a lossless image format.

My personal tip for fish eye is to actually just sketch out your drawing with regular perspectives, then apply fish eye filter on top of the sketch and finish the line art+colouring after that. The fish eye perspective ruler system can be really overwhelming to fiddle with for some people.
i wish they could make the head and body merged. Also an idea, i wish they could mocap our face as well to capture difficult facial emotion. that would be a killer feature for animation!

I actually have a fish eye ruler template that I have used in the past, but it was pretty complicated to use and so I am happy that the rulers now have native support for fisheye, makes things loads easier.
Subscription has its advantages. It’s more accessible financially, if you want to use a different software in 8 months you can cancel, and the editor gets more regular money to upgrade and update the software. Overall the subscription made software much more accessible. But I understand it feels a bit frustrating. Just remember that « life time » version for a software can’t really be true.
You can update to 2.0 with a one-time payment, it's even free if you bought CSP in 2022. But all the updates between 2.0 and 3.0 aren't included, you would need to update to 3.0 to get those. With the subscription you get the in-between updates as well So it's kinda like this; either pay once for 2.0 and don't get updates till you buy 3.0 Or get updates in-between with a subscription

They plan on Major revision numbers 2.0, 3.0, etc, to be available for perpetual purchase, and to help support them in between you can basically gain early access to feature updates between the major revisions by paying a monthly or yearly sub. You will still get Stability updates if you purchased the perpetual license to 2.0 without any sub. Side note, their roadmap has 3.0 slated for some time in 2024, so you just would go without feature updates for a year if you plan on upgrading to 3.0 perpetual.
My issue with CSP 2.0 is that as great as these features are, I already paid tons of money for CSP EX. Not to mention the update pass costing money too and stuff, not being able to have a one time purchase is awful because you can't guarantee how much of your income each month will be able to go to the program anyway. Plus paying for an update is ridiculous. With the price of basic things people need to survive going up lately, it's just not worth paying that much money for some more features in an art program you already paid hundreds of dollars for.

This is why, even if I'm not a manga or webtoon artist but a concept artist, I still cannot leave Clipstudio while every other colleague are using Photoshop hahaha Clipstudio is such a fantastic tool.

Just installed the update recently. Been taking a short break from working so I don't tire myself out. This was a nice little surprise. Some of these features are going to be really helpful; especially since I'm working on this novel solo (as most of you are probably doing too). Can't wait to see what other features they added. Clip already had a ridiculous amount of features and I know there's a lot more they added in the update that they didn't mention. The hand camera is going to save so much time. I can draw hands; but, it's so much quicker using reference. I'm sure it'll definetely help the muscle memory. Thanks for the video!

File > Preferences/CTRL+K > Performance And fiddle with the Virtual Memory settings. If you still have problems, lower your "undo levels" to like 10 or something. If you still have problems, you probably need a better computer. Specially one with an SSD as main C: drive(instead of a HDD) where the OS and CSP should be installed on. It will make it run 100x more smooth.
That shading feature is so damn cool. I often have zero idea where to start when it comes to shading and just sort of end up muddling through. Shading for me is sort of like looking at an empty canvas, where you can just feel intimidated until you just start putting shit down, so having something that just puts SOMETHING, ANYTHING down as a base and lets me go from there is incredibly useful.
@@ZaiDrizzleDrop it's useful, but still best to learn for yourself by studying how light casts shadows in real life. I recommend Ctrl+Paint for free, high quality tutorials on shading

Honestly I'm sold for the new head model alone. I do wish that they would make it so you could just add it to your body instead of having to put it on though. I'm assuming they're probably working on that, but it's better to get out what they already have instead of keeping people waiting.
This was a better round-up than the video done by the Celsys staff! One feature enhancement I was happy to see was the revamped typographic tool. Pasted-in copy no longer breaks in the middle of words, regardless of syllables. Now, if CSP just had proper hyphenation tables--!
I updated to the 2.0 version today and I was worried it wouldn't be that great but GOD only ther hand scanner feature is enough T-T I'm in love with this version
Instead of making the liquify tool affect multiple layers, they should have made the liquify tool not blur the pixels while using it. Its a huge flaw with the tool.
It's so great to see you post another video. I've been improving a ton recently thanks to the tips in your videos and this kind of update is getting me excited. You're like my solid art idol, I absolutely love the work you produce. I'll probably end up getting the subscription for these. I think my favorite is a throw down between the liquify and the model updates. Being a beginner, it's still really hard to think in 3D and come up with poses and such. Hands are just hell, so that hand scanner tool is pretty damn awesome. the fisheye ruler looks so complicated, so this video is going to be watched a couple hundred times until I can understand it lmao. That hand scanner is so cool, I've always used my own hand as my own reference but since I never took pictures I always accidentally draw the hands like from my viewpoint

What I need is tonal correction on multiple layers. Like SAI. I know I can use corrective layers, but sometimes I need to adjust multiple layers from different folders.

WOW I am an old school traditional artist, finally learning how to use these digital art programs. These tools are amazing! I spent so much time practicing shading and hands and color theory but this thing can do it for you now automatically. It really is cool and is going to save me a lot of time
The shading feature they add will be a big help, for me. Not that I don't know, but it will be very useful and less time consuming. And of course, the hand scanner lol. Damn, hands are my worst nightmare lol, even if I draw decent one lol

As someone who's almost fully transferred from Clip Studio Paint to Blender for 2D animation purposes. I don't think theres much here that i would need. Great video though!
I wish there was a way to lock certain parts of a 3D model so you can move everything else without having to readjust and make corrections or even save/register a camera's angle and zoom so that you can go back to it after rotating the camera to make pose adjustments. I often find that I figure out an angle I really like, notice something I need to change but need to move the camera to make said change, and can't get the exactly perfect camera angle/position again. I'd love to register a camera angle for the folder that I can just reset it to after making such changes! I know you can move some parts without it effecting other parts depending on what it is, but I'm specifically referring to a feature of locking a part in space like they're holding onto a pole while being pulled away by a tornado or something. I feel like I soend more time adjusting a model for references than if I were to draw a pose from scratch, so I don't often use it, but these new 3D features might make me reconsider. I'm especially excited for the liquify tool! The mesh tool is nice, but there are situations where liquify would be more applicable and I'm looking forward to using it!
THE CUSTOM HEADS! - I ended up having to do 3D models headless, to ensue each character had their proper head to go with it, and it was still hard to ensure the models were on point from every angle. But being able to just create a custom head, that is on-model for the character, and just pull them onto the page to angle them and then sketch, ensures consistency and speed , my two primary concerns :D

I feel like I soend more time adjusting a model for references than if I were to draw a pose from scratch, so I don't often use it, but these new 3D features might make me reconsider. I'm especially excited for the liquify tool! The mesh tool is nice, but there are situations where liquify would be more applicable and I'm looking forward to using it!
THE CUSTOM HEADS! - I ended up having to do 3D models headless, to ensue each character had their proper head to go with it, and it was still hard to ensure the models were on point from every angle. But being able to just create a custom head, that is on-model for the character, and just pull them onto the page to angle them and then sketch, ensures consistency and speed , my two primary concerns :D
