Thank you Ben, I personally believe that the western world can learn a lot from eastern spirituality and wisdom, also believe that all faiths lead to one God, I’ve recently just come across your channel on you tube and am loving your videos 🙏🏻

Very well said that mind start rejecting which is good for you. I felt this mostly it distracts me, irritates me the time i start doing spiritual practices or meditation but it never distracts me the time time when i am watching movies or the time when i used to play hrs and hrs game on mobile. Mind is the biggest enemy of us. Never let us to get connected with our real consciousness.

You said we reject things that are good for us and that’s SO TRUE!!! I know I do.

I just came across Ben right now. As a seeker of consciousness development for the last 20-so years myself, I can tell from these book recommendations that Ben has real insights to share

I read the Long Pilgrimage about 50 years ago. It’s been on my mind just lately and then I randomly clicked on your video. I now have a digital copy and will read it soon. Thank you.

Hello Ben, I have in the past had serious problems with meditating in my younger days . You talked about seeing colour and so on. Yes mine were strange, mine were blue, green, orange, some I saw a face and one time I saw a beautiful shape of black and white. One waking up I experienced my ceiling being all quartz with blue? crystal beaming light into my throat😮 I have been a person with gifts from a child. Thank you for kindness peace and love be with you always

I just saw your last 4 book recommendations from last year. I started listening to The Power of Now.
Eckhart Tolle narrating is a lesson in patience and ‘NOW’ all on its own. 😆

These look like great books, and looking forward to reading them. Only have read the Sai Baba book of those that you recommended. Would like to share with you and hope you don’t mind, Sai Baba is not only an Avatar but the only triple Avatar. He incarnated first as Shirdi Sai, than Sathya Sai and now Prema Sai. He has not announced his presence as of yet as he is still too young.

Thank you for your lovely comment🙏 I was aware of Sai baba’s 3 incarnations but nonetheless, it’s amazing to hear that you are also aware. His teachings are truly the word of the Divine. I think you will especially love mother Meera’s books (answers 1 & answers 2), she is also an Avatar 😌

The law of one by ra
Is a set of books where are a must read
Channelling from the 1980s by a 6th density entity called ra.
    Amazing books
It talks about the same stuff you mention but it obviously uses different terms to announce the same truth

I have found Toltec teachings, pre and post Hispanic conquest to be a river that I can swim in without confusion. The Toltecs do not believe in “god” in the confusing manner of the Western religions. So when I hear about a “one god” I have, still, no idea what people are talking about. There is nothing to “believe” in Toltec teachings. There is only knowledge outside the box. It is knowledge without all the alphabet soup.
I have a long way to go, often it is incredibly frightening, in meditation in the ways of the Toltecs. The loneliness, or aloneness, creates an enormous surgence of love for the few people around, I want to protect and nourish…but in this a very powerful opposing force of disdain for others outside my circle energizes a desire to protect myself and those around me from the contamination which others naturally exude in this environment.
We are not born with words, and the very existence of this code which keeps us connected to each other feels filthy.
It’s like two powerful opposing forces…as if the word is both the poison and the path.
How to reconcile this? I have work, I have children. The thought of teaching my son the alphabet is disturbing at times, when the next thought is that the keys to communicating are the same keys to connect in other ways without them. 😢

thanks Ben. aren't we all divine in the human form? ;)

    • @bensmithreal

Haha, I wondered when someone would ask this. You are spot on - we are Divine! The big difference between us and an Avatar is that we aren’t experiencing ourselves at Divine consciousness yet. We aren’t omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent. You could say that we are journeying from Human consciousness, back to our true nature which is Divine consciousness. An Avatar is the total embodiment of the Divine, they are omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent. (All powerful, all knowing and everywhere at once). They aren’t ‘journeying’ like we are, they have actually come down specifically to help us ‘back up’.
      Hope that makes sense!
