Yep y’all got it. Other girl is lee hi, they did this collab together. Got Bobby and ji soo in this video too, so the whole yg family at the time. But yeah love this song so much, their voices really worked well together.

It goes back to Kpopstar. Lee Hi finished in second place on season1 in 2012. Akdong Musician won season2 in 2013 beating Bang Yedam who is now in Treasure. They all signed with YG Entertainment. Lee Hi and Suhyun are best friends and Chanhyuk with Kang Seung Yoon from Winner, also from YG Entertainment, wrote Wayo for Bang Yedam.

hey guys!! thank you so much for the reaction, i love yalls throwbacks. so, yes, they were hella young there. i believe suhyun was 15 and hayi was 18. someone asked about this being before or after akmu, and it was after! akmu debuted in 2012 and they were an instant hit, always deeply recognized and respected by the public for being such talented and young composers. if i recall correctly, hayi debuted in 2012 or 2013 as well, with "1234". around this time, YGEnt was having a new peak after big bang, so it was a great time for the company. it was IMPOSSIBLE to keep bobby out of things. my boy was booked busy and overworked 😭😂 SMTM3 was airing during this time and BOBBY was the main character there, while also being a trainee and participating in YGs survivals show Who Is Next (WINNER vs. iKON). so YG used bobby's (and B.I's) popularity to boost their influence. they were also experimenting a lot with some duos, so they came up with HI SUHYUN and it was very well received. hope this helps with context. see ya!

Such an epic subunit and such a shame YG didn’t let them do more together especially since Lee Hi and Lee Suhyun’s voices work so well together and Bobby is a great addition.
