This is the worst drama ever, when a woman is ruthless and caring about her son only is not fit to be the emperor and ended up a monk. He was so nasty and ungrateful, many people died women and men to fight for him and his mother in the process. Nothing to do with actors playing the roles. They reflect their play. As a script is terrible, full of deceit, hate, abuse of power to use it for their own benefit at the cost of other people's misery and suffering. The so called Empress is so cruel, using people and Dorgon to achieve her own goals, however fate is justice her son is not fit and qualified to be an emperor and became a Monk. No potty for him. Hi only cared about himself and his love but never for the love of those people who fought for his luxury life and lost their lives. His mother the Empress said she cares for the country but actually it was a deceit she only cared about herself and her son. No wonder even her son called her ruthless. She possibly contributed for the death of her grandson and the death of the woman her son loved so her niece could be the Empress As time went on she was becoming more selfish, self centered , hard hearted , caring only about her nasty, ungrateful son and slowly killing all the people who loved her and gave their lives for her. Actually it was Dorgon who lawfully should have been the Emperor. The ex Emperor was a son of Concubin which means mistress and used unlawful meanings to become one. Dorgon was the the only fit for the position of Emperor, brave, with good strategies and fair and just Regent but suffered so much humiliation due to his love for her. When she married the Ex Emperor and had her Son all she did is using him for her and her son benefit. She failed to discipline her nasty, ungrateful son who constantly was verbally and mentally abused Dorgon. All he wanted is to teach Fulin to become fit for Emperor, but he even refused to study or do anything useful. Instead he was throwing only abuse and insults against Dorgon. And what his mother did, nothing but letting her spoiled Son to be so cruel. Dorgon should have left them to their own battles and learn to appreciate the good people who sacrificed their life's for her and spoiled Son. Dorgon a good man, was so devoted, loyal , unfortunately lost his life for no good people. Sorry, but I do not feel sorry for the press. Due to her selfishness many good people lost their life's. She showed cruelty to achieve her goals. It is only fair and justice her unfit, spoiled, nasty and ungrateful son left the throne to become a monk. I hope he will realise and learn to appreciate the love of other people not just the love he feels for a woman. With his cruelty he destroyed the love of so many.
