I so enjoy the beautiful artistry. I used to be a welder. A blacksmith is a true creator, welds just put metal together. I wish I could have had a chance to learn your skill...
Watching from New Zealand, you my fine friend are a pure genius. Cant believe that only took you only one day, bet you were buggered after all that hammer striking.
Amazing. Forge welding skills are next level. Love the design and I'm going to copy some of those tools, thanks for posting. Just a tip, another pair of hands would have helped with all that heavy lifting, get the wife/girlfriend to help.
Absolutely gorgeous! I love videos like this. Watching an idea come together and seeing the skill needed to do so is amazing! Cheers, James! ~*May the forge be with you.*~ 😊
Absolutely beautiful! I watched beginning to end and still don't understand how the leaf had grooves! I may not really understand what's going on, but it's wonderful and fascinating to watch! Thank you!
Wow, I love this piece and would like it for my garden. Great to find your channel (via Roin). I hope you guys are both able to do the Bunratty Castle thing again next year!
Good day, James. This is indeed a beautiful piece of garden art, but may I ask if you could include the names of the sculpting tools that you used on the leaf? It will be much appreciated. Greetings from South Africa 😃⚒️🔥🇿🇦
8:03 I have never seen something like this, my welds pop open even when I think they had the perfect heat and position, and you just go on and hold them together and it actually holds.
Wonderful work! A salute to you from an Irish American in the USA. You make us proud of our heritage.
👍 ♥

Wonderful as always, love the traditional Blacksmithing skills. I have a blacksmith studio in Alberta Canada and do traditional Blacksmithing.
Beautiful!👏👏👏👏
Nice to see traditional forge welding, especially without having tacked the pieces together first. Thanks!
You are so gifted in your craft! Love watching the process of it all.

Lovely stuff. Beautiful work.
You have a truly amazing talent well done
So amazing to watch such a physical process of steel and heat and hammering throw out something so fine and organic and delicate. Bravo James!
Artistry and craftsmanship.
Thanks for letting us watch you create.

Came for the hammer work got a funky sound track stayed for end but had to mute
A lovely piece of work. It's always a pleasure to watch someone who has been well trained. Where did you learn the trade? Cheers from Australia.

Great work! Pieces like this can be cumbersome to work on. Highly annoying background “music”. Had to watch it muted.
Oops! Won't be doing that again 😅
