He's lost his two brothers, his lover, all of his friends, every place he's lived in before Alexandria. It's tragic because he's never had a real family, yet everyone he forms a bond with dies. He literally only has Carol now.
His lover?? *Scratches head* weeeeeell moving along ....... I feel Daryl stuff is just as tragic if not more so. But it's stuff like this that makes a really badass character.
