Under 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for fair use for purposes such as criticism, commenting, news reporting, teaching, and research. I've never understood why Ivy gets so much hate. The woman came from an extremely troubled and traumatic upbringing and had NO money. The real villain of this plotline is Carol. All Ivy did was take an acting job. And in the process, she accidentally found the family she always wanted but never had. The VdWs were hideous to Ivy once they learned the truth because they refused to believe that anyone could possibly be motivated by anything besides money. Every single thing that Lily did to Ivy was not only cruel but also violated her own mother's wishes. And she was doing the same thing to Ivy that she was accusing Ivy of doing to her: being manipulative to obtain money.
One of Gossip Girls' strengths was the themes on class differences and how someone who isn't rich would be received in the upper class, ergo Dan and Jenny in the first seasons. Series got a little lost later but this subplot was a glimpse of these great themes that came before
I totally agree. The first two seasons were pure gold.
Cece was always so mean but maybe she also could’ve been a bigger villain
I agree with both plotlines that you mention, these could've been so much bigger
I'm so glad someone talks about this💋
Hey girl, I really enjoy your videos.
Keep it up! ❤
Thanks🙏🏻
You look like Lola
They also shouldn’t have revealed why serena disappeared in the first season, why solve this mystery so early 🥲
