This episode was a lot, glad Moon still has the tiny recollection of Eclipse being awful. Eclipse really just said “First BloodMoon, then actual Moon, and now Lunar” man’s killing off all the Moon variants 😭 Sun’s being surprisingly calm, especially with the Moon situation, Eclipse being back AND with the star, and Lunar being dead
I feel like with all the stuff happening back to back, the poor dude is just emotionally numb right now.

1) Moon is giving “new subscriber to the show” vibes and as someone who only recently binged the show, I CAN RELATE AND I AM HERE FOR IT!!!
2) Noticed that Eclipse telling Sun “-I’ll make your life a living hell” is the same thing Moon told Sun when they first “met”. Oddly, it’s like a parallel to Killcode “let me do this ONE thing” line, both being something the other brother has said to one another, and for whatever reason getting used against them in one way in another. While it’s sad, ITS FUCKING ART
3) Earth’s therapy to Sun just got undid in the worst way, I don’t know if they had a 10 year therapy session if it would put a dent in his problems now (though he IS seeming to be handling the situation okay for the most part)

Dammit Eclipse, all of this started because you decided to be an ass from the moment you made yourself known. Moon may've left you behind, but Sun didn't do anything to you. Not up until he expelled you, but by then he had no other choice because you backed him into a corner, and you didn't want to bother changing. You could've. KC proved that much. He changed so you could have also changed if you just made the freaking effort. You're beyond saving.

Seriously Moon hasn’t been this deliriously amusing since Lunar was first put in his head. It’s a surprisingly heartwarming situation that’s got me thinking positively about how he might react to finding out magic is real and how he more-than-likely doesn’t have his guilt complex anymore since he no longer has the living memory of all those murders he previously committed or how he unwillingly had to hurt Sun back when they shared a body (I hope to God no one tells him about that last thing tho 😬).
And it’s a very tempting distraction from the fact that he also doesn’t remember taking in Lunar, those other dimensions he visited, or that Monty came out to him as genderfluid. Let me be delusional for a bit, guys 🥲
Also Monty they just lost their best friend they’re brother the one they cared for the only one they cared for really they care for moon and sun but they love lunar or should I say “loved” omg I’m crying at this point ❤😅

Never realized the amount of emotional attachment I have to this channel, the characters, the editor, AND the VA's
While you don't have any backed up memories that you can download into Moon, you do have the next best thing: this channel. Just have him watch all of its videos from the earliest to the latest, and he should get a pretty good idea of who he was, who his friends and family were, and what you all went through.
Edit: It's not *that* much footage to go through. It would take you three days to watch every single episode on this channel in one go, eight days if you break it up into eight-hour-long chunks, or sixteen days if you break it up into four-hour-long chunks. Humans do this all the time, it's called "binging".
Plus. Moons bed is his charger, so hes probably fully charged rn. He can stay up for Weeks. Binging should be no problem for him... Eclipse the Cheato on the other hand...
Binging is a good idea.. if Moon had the opportunity to do that without Eclipse being a problem. Hopefully he’s just watching the vids while all this is happening and just multitasking the situation

And I’m starting to believe that there might be some way for Moon to slowly regain his memories, since he said that he has a “vague recollection that you suck“ Towards Eclipse. This may be a Grunkle Stan situation where things slowly come back to him, this is gonna be really interesting :D
I know he’s a robot but we can treat this very similar to amnesia from what I know small triggers can bring back someone’s memories

This is essentially a clone of Moon's base code. New Moon will never be OG Moon.

New Moon has been done with the combination through magic and technology. He’s also only reset, so he has the same personality. The only thing wrong with him is that he has no memories. This one is still authentic.
On the other hand, the one in Nice!Eclipse’s dimension has been done through technology alone. That one is also a backup, not a reset, and as we know from this episode, probably corrupted. He has is memories but not personality. That Moon is almost completely simulated.

I have to say, I was not expecting there to be four characters physically there in one go, it was kind of interesting to see so many people interacting at once since it doesn't usually happen.
Poor Sun is being pushed to his emotional limit right now. Moon lost his memories and he most likely feels at fault for it, Eclipse has the Star and is in the daycare with the resolve to torment Sun and his family, and now he has to find out that Lunar is dead. (But hopefully not permanently.)
I still can't believe the Moon we know and love is just... Gone. And I do feel bad for the new Moon, he's really confused and is being thrust straight into a lot of chaos. But I wonder, nice Eclipse said he was making the Star to repair his world's Sun and Moon- since the Star, if it gets finished, will have a totally different functionality, does that mean it could fix Moon? Could Sun take him to the nice Eclipse and restore Moon's memories?... Probably not. D':
Also, I still want to grab a bat and beat Eclipse into a pulp. I want to make *him* a scrape on the floor.
Eclipse better become cheeto dust by the end of this or I swear...
Unfortunately Nice Eclipse said the stars only work in their base dimensions, so his star won’t work on our Moon. He could totally aid in stopping Bad Eclipse tho, or maybe even help Monty fix Lunar!
And I’m sure Moon will have his memories restored. He said he has a vague recollection that Eclipse sucks, which means there’s hope! If Moon watches every episode of the show, then maybe that’ll trigger his memories to come back!
Unfortunately, I doubt Nice!Eclipse’s Newton Star would be able to do anything for this Moon, given his explanation to this Eclipse that the Stars only work in their base dimensions, and Moon no longer has the knowledge of how the dimensional shift thing he made works. Sure would be nice, though.
But bringing up Nice!Eclipse, I am loving an idea I know won’t happen: him making his way to this dimension, finding out about what happened to Lunar, and going on a vengeful rampage against this Eclipse while Monty tries to bring him back.

@@ryleechoate3520 I was thinking that the could bring Moon *to* nice Eclipse's dimension if they tried to use that world's Star to fix him. And I do hope he does come to help out in some way! I think nice Eclipse could bring a lot to the table.
I really hope so. It would just be so strange to lose the Moon we've had all year and... Never get him back. Not to mention how devastating that would be for poor Sun.
Eclipse has fallen into the one trap that befuddles any Machiavellian villain: he got personal.
This is going to go very, very badly for one side of this.
But! We have some small hope now that maybe, just maybe, Moon's memories are recoverable. Just not by data, necessarily.
I am so hype to see what's going to happen to everyone! Eclipse has changed a lot from when he first came; starting as essentially a rogue personality, then growing into his own person as Sun suppressed more and more anger, feeding on it. He was maniacal, almost unhinged, and relished in the chaos but then he grew tired, annoyed--he calmed down and that was terrifying as he was able to think more, analyze, plot...
Now he's toeing the Third Act Breakdown phase of his life--betrayed, abandoned, plans failing or falling apart, saved at the last moment by his own cunning and Sun being an excellent pawn. He's regained control over the board and managed to wipe out the enemy forces all at once.
Or as a certain Major might say, "I. CALLED. HEADS."
God I love me a good, shameless villain 😩
Eclipse is an amazing villain, and even though he deserves to die, I hope the show doesn’t get rid of him permanently. He’s what keeps it going, and it doesn’t seem like the writers have any other villains/antagonists in mind for it. I hope that he doesn’t try going for the star over and over, as it would probably get repetitive.
What I think would be neat if the writers do want to shove him to the side for a while is they could have him disappear when the star is taken from him and he’s defeated again, have him be gone for a few months or so, then come back.

My favorite parts are 0:16, 6:12 and 6:25, 6:30, and 6:42. Moony at the beginning shouting “I’m on a box!” Was so funny to me, absolutely miss old Moon but I love this new Moon he is so funny and cute. Also, Eclipses laugh is adorable ^^

The fact Moon has so much to relearn is gonna be a heck of a long process and struggle, admittedly, as tragic as this is. Moon’s confusion is on some things is kinda funny, like his reaction to hearing he’s an Scientist, KC speaking, then seeing Eclipse. Goodness, when he said that I just went, “Moon- No- please, I know you have no memories. But you don’t want this guy being ‘Twins’ with Sun.” It’s good at least Moon knows he indeed “sucks,” at least that might be enough to know for certain that Eclipse is no friend.
Speaking of Eclipse.. he certainly ain’t gonna make things easy. Whatever is gonna be discussed, I’m real worried about it.. if he’s not resetting anything.. he’s gonna more than likely torture the gang in some way.

I'm glad that New Moon still has hatred for that monster! I'm sure once that creature acts on it, New Moon will be so triggered by his specific hatred for that mistake to attack or help his brother!
Do you think his vague recollection of hating Eclipse could be helpful in getting his memories back? I’ve been told that if this is treated like amnesia, then Moon watching the show could trigger his memories to come back.
@@ryleechoate3520 Yeah, I think so. Seeing his lab might help too reawaken his genius and scientist side in him. But it seems like there's no much time for him to watch the WHOLE show. So, uh, let's pray there's a summary that's honest to the show that he can watch and get filled in quickly whenever that's possible. Maybe then he'll be able to show brotherly affection towards Sun especially because we all know how co dependent Sun was on Moony! If he truly lost Moony, he's basically gone himself! It'll take time, but surely he'll learn his role and pick it up and be there for Sunny. I'm just glad he doesn't recall any of his trauma/killer past haunting memories so he's not wrecked with guilt over something he wasn't able to do anything about!

@@rainpuppy14 Yeah of course! That's a LOT to explain to someone that woken up a new person just 10 minutes ago as New Moon said he had. There's a lot to catch him up on plus he just heard that Sun gotten threatened to get his life turned into more of a Hell than it's been already! Like I didn't expect New Moon to make a comeback at that, but yeah, that isn't nice like he said! I don't know how much time he has to get to watch all the shows to get caught up. But I hope he wouldn't want to witness Sunny being tormented by the red puff.

It's heartbreaking that Moon has no memory of Sun or their life, but he does know that Eclipse sucks even with 0 memory. That made me laugh. Hopefully if Sun and Moon sit down and watch there show together it will help Moon in some way.

Perhaps there's more vague recollections New Moon can use to piece things together and have his family confirm those was true. Lol, he was surprised to learn he was a genius scientist that made the impossible possible! Perhaps with more prompting New Moon can get into what OG Moon had done and pick up where he left off for him! :D

Okay I gotta get this out there: When Moon said “I have a vauge recollection that you suck.” Eclipse says, “Good. Keep it.” 8:02 *After that, though, Moon looks down and away from Eclipse, shaking his head as if shaking off some strange feeling. Maybe this is memories coming back? Or something? *Maybe it’s a dumb detail but LET ME HAVE THE HOPE THAT ONE OF MY COMFORT CHARACTERS IS ALIVE.
Actually you have a point I know he’s a robot but the thing with amnesia is small things can affect his memory eclipse was such a huge part of sun and moon to life for so long of course he would have such a longing impact on the pair

When Eclipse came in the room, so many shivers went down my spine! However, Moon, thankfully, got rid of that and just out of no where said "TWINS!" However, when Eclipse said at the end, "Instead of reseting the universe, I will make your life a living hell, Sun," made me so shocked! I wonder what will happen during Eclipse and Sun's talk, hopefully Sun will get the star back. I don't know why, but I'm already planning Eclipse's death...

Bro. This episode though. I feel like the therapy Sun got now means absolutely nothing anymore considering he’s gonna need WAY more therapy to at least make a SINGULAR DENT in his problems. I guess that’s a start of getting moon’s memories back, his hatred for eclipse, and everything and looking through the footage of the sun and moon show. Things are getting interesting. I also love hell at the end it just eclipse saying, “so let’s talk” immediately cuts out to the outro XD

Moon, memories are a part of what make a person a person, their past experiences help make up their personality and give you knowledge and beliefs, without them your kinda just lost.
I know it’ll never happen, but I really hope lunar and bloodmoon talk in the afterlife. I really liked their dynamic. My heart dropped when I saw eclipse! that was such a twist in the middle of the video

Oooh this is getting interesting, god poor Sun though but I'm glad he is a bit more level-headed and is trying to think of solutions rather than spiral in on himself. Then Eclipse had to show his face and ruin an already somewhat painful reunion, also kinda funny how even with amnesia Moon still knows Eclipse is bad.
With everything piling on Sun, I'm not sure how much more of this emotional kick to the face he can take, even if he's calm right now. I mean he has Earth to confide in but she doesn't know the whole story and she only say so much. I'm concerned about what's gonna happen and what Eclipse has to say...
However, I will say this, I am enjoying how Eclipse is just relishing in being everyones problem - you can just hear it in his voice which is still so cool.
I can't feel just one emotion because Moons reaction and how chill he is with everything just makes me laugh and calm me down. But I WILL rip eclipse to pieces for hurting lunar. REVENGE.

Oh, sh**t, the next episode is gonna be a big one. I have a love-hate relationship with this "memory loss." it's sad indeed, but I think it's better if Moon loses the memories. There's so much trauma, especially with the voices. It's better off without the memories. Sun can still help Moon ge-gain some good memories. I think it's good this way. There's still the happy gameplay episodes, so it's okay! We still have our Moon. ^^
These Lords are getting more and more interesting I may say but poor sun dealing with more things then we think, I do hope there's a good ending to this.
