    It's applied on cp child treatment, can u plz tell me how to apply on hyperactive spastic children

    • @PhysioClassroom
      @PhysioClassroom  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello,.
      First do a thorough reflex evaluation and find the presence of all abnormal reflexes in CP child.
      To reduce spasticity, first move the child out of the posture which night be aggravating abnormal tone.
      For example if a child has abnormal TLR due to which he/she demonstrates Increase in extensor tone in supine lying.
      Then all our therapy interventions will fail if we treat the baby in supine lying as we have not removed the abnormal stimulus.
      So first we can choose a different position like side lying or sitting and then use inhibitory technique.
      Do message on whatsaap is required for further discussion.

      Roods therapy emphasize upon making brain more aware of the sensory inputs from the desired limb or body part so that the efferent output from the brain can increase and produce a purposeful motor movement or a function.
