I love, Love, LOVE watching you deconstruct a piece of ephemera! It's so intriguing to see you 'reverse engineer' a pretty piece and make it your own. Now I'll go today and make the piece according to your directions but with my own embellishments. It's kind of like the old game of Telephone, isn't it? Thanks and I hope the original maker tells you who she is (a good example of why we should always sign our work).
I think the example you have in your book is very pretty, but I think yours is gorgeous! I love how you decorated the front, and the rose napkin is a lovely addition.

I saw this pop up on my iPad when I was just dropping off to sleep just before midnight. I thought it was odd that she was posting at that time but pulled it up to watch...that was my last thought because I was so sleepy I must have dozed right off. Woke up this morning at 6 with my iPad still on my chest 🤨. So I got up and fixed my coffee and watched me some Gayle. That is an awesome tri-fold design. ❤️

My glue topper is a knitting needle cap I bought in the knitting department of Hobby Lobby with a pin dangle poked through the top of it. The pin dangles are available from various sellers on Etsy. ❤️

You can also buy the flat magnet sheets at Walmart for super cheap and cut them down! They are in the craft section.

I try to keep the mod Podge only where the napkin will cover. You can always go back and tuck a little under. That said, I don’t always succeed! 🥴❤️

My glue topper is a knitting needle cap I bought in the knitting department of Hobby Lobby with a pin dangle poked through the top of it. The pin dangles are available from various sellers on Etsy. ❤️
