This is good, some people were afraid that since male and female armor are universal that they would not have beta sets. This is fantastic as it basiclly means each monster has 4 armor varieties.
Idk why anyone would have thought this. Gender never played a role in alpha and beta sets. Why would it now?

@@VadeInSpiritu some of the pieces for genders in the past are arguably gender neutral Such as the hats and belts, so no it isn't just if the character is a cross dresser.
All players will have a bunch of new options that can work for both genders with that in mind.

For me personally, my favorite things that they have shown or mentioned is: the personalization options for the pop up camp and seikret. And that each monster weapon is going to have a unique design.
I loved to see little chairs and a campfire by the pop up camp which is going to be great for co op with my girlfriend. It’s going to feel so cozy.
It looks like this is going to be the best monster hunter for us to customize everything to our hearts content and I cannot wait.
We also got the confirmation that you can use layered armor of male and female hunter on the part that you want, not just the full armor.
I was afraid that we would have to chose between male or female armor in full.
You could mix and match them in the beta as well that's what I did
I 100% have arachnophobia but I never activate the feature in any game that offers it because it's cathartic as hell to kill spiders in a video game.

@aaronnunavabizniz199 I mean maybe, however with real spiders it's a different story, even with small ones I literally can't be in the same room as them because when I see one in my minds eye for some reason all I see is there face. Only thing I can relate it to is that episode of SpongeBob when him and Patrick are terrified of the butterfly and how it always zooms on the butterfly's head, well that happens for me but with spiders.

Ignore the idiots. As listed, in only extreme cases of arachnaphobia are panic attacks stimulated from images, videos, or toys. Arachnophobia is more often about interacting about real spiders in reality.

I think frost fang barioth also had an ice breath attack that held you still if you walked onto it or got hit.

If i remember the comaqchi are the Spider-like monstere in the cave zone of Barlovento plains in the beta
I think those are called Bulaqchi. Maybe Comaqchi are a variant from Scarlet Forest or Iceshard Cliffs.

I joined the Monster Hunter community with MHWorld, but seeing goarmagalla and Narcilla made me want to hunt them immediately!
Gore megala has always been my fav but it’s cool the spider came back played since 4 ultimate

There was also the fact that Gemma is very, very obviously a grown-up version of Little Miss Forge, not just because of her design, but also because she wears the Caravaneer's Jacket and has a Yian Kut Ku plushie to reference the Guild Marm.

One thing I was kinda miffed about was the inability to cap the FPS on the benchmark app. My PC can run it fine enough at 60 FPS or so if I use the GPU boost option, but I'm a console gamer at heart and don't need the FPS and graphics to be absolutely maxed out, and the fact that it gets choppy for me during gameplay is an absolute bummer. But at least it can handle the game, so I'm getting the new beta.
Half of the storage requirement is huge I had managed to free up 215GB on my SSD in preparation for 140GB to be used.
I’m a console player and I was worried about how they’d optimize the game since the first beta had some frame rate issues. Won’t know for sure until I can play the new beta but looking like things have drastically improved

I started with rise and just recently started world, using the same concept for my hunter from rise. Even if the games aren't connected, my hunter is! And I'm hyped!
Each Monster Hunter main title is a different fleet! So theoretically you can make a offspring of your characters if you wanted to make a story with your character, usually every 10-15 years a new fleet is introduced

frozen status already in world when fighting against frostfang and ATV, it will be great if theres item that allies can activate or use to clear those frozen effect for us
One thing i am most pleased about is the ability to craft any and all types of decorations in the game unlike in world where i played for upward of 3000 hours and never once did i get an attack jewel 4 the fact you can craft even the highest tier decos to xomplete youre ultimate build is an absolute godsend. I cannot wait to play this game in full.
I am loving all of the 4 Ultimate monsters and environments making there way into this game!

Even Gore (and maybe shagaru) Magala makes it's comeback, don't expect it will bring frenzy virus (same in Sunbreak). I think the dev will focus on Arkveld and the final boss role in the ecology and what they make monters power up, like tempered ver. in MHW:I by Xeno/Safi
Hopefully the alpha/beta armor split means we can get 3rd gen Rathalos armor as the beta set.
Yes my favorite gen 4 monster is back, it's the murder spider. I'm hype I think there is gonna be at least 1 more map. I hope there is gonna be like 40 monsters and well I did not have Gor Frenzy on my returning bingo card.

Mine keep crashing severely, i haven't even gotten to finish the test. I have Ryzen 5 5600 and rx 6800. The game runs at over 130fps with fg on at 1440p high.
@alihaidar6105 4000s series gpus have been struggling hard in this game, especially on the 8gb cards. It'll probably be playable for you, but will be maxing out your V-ram unless you make some major graphical sacrifices.

Couldn't the ice apex be an adult Hirabami that lost lost the 'sails' as it moved to a more grounded life style? They share a similar skeleton with a long body ornamented by pairs of hooks, they seem to have a similar mouth morphology with how the lower jaw splits in multiple parts, and they both spew ice
As gore is in the cliffs could the inclemency be a outbreak of frenzy?

im glad it runs better, i had rtx3070 and it runs around 110 fps at high settings with fsr and frame gen
Think the optimization from the Official Launch be better than the BETA? I sure hope so. I'm currently fine with Medium settings 1080p avg. of 68 fps.

I want the ice apex to be a snake wyvern but I know that those are not allowed to exist so it'll just be another leviathan, kinda sucks we're getting 2 apex leviathans in that case. If I am wrong and it is a snake wyvern I will actually cry.

I thought the open-world formula meant mob encounters would be a bigger part of the game now, but judging by the footage I've seen, it doesn't seem like that. That really sucks in my opinion, because it would make the game less one-dimensional if it weren't all about boss fights.

Ive had it preordered for months i find myself sitting there looking at the timer like a psycho😂 thankgos the beta starts to tomorrow unfortunately it dosent go live until 8pm here which is super weird time but i atleast they are giving us multiple times and two seperate chances to play the 6th to the 9th then the 13th to the 16th

If you mean pre-download then yes. The pre-download for the game goes up Feb 25th or 26th. And of course becomes playable at midnight unless you're west coast then game goes live playable on the 27th at 9pm

Optimization is still horrible with this benchmark build... praying official launch they get the game smooth as possible.
Definitely don't buy yet if your spec is near recommended spec. 60 fake fps at 1080p and maybe upscaled if you want less ghosting from fake frames is gonna be terrible on some parts of the game at the least.

The second beta doesn't have all of the changes implemented since the original beta. I believe I read that it doesn't have any of them, but I am relying on memory.
Agreed. 5700X and 6700XT getting 68fps avg score. This is over specs, but the cutscenes really boost that avg fps. This is all before Denuvo, too, so I expect worse results in the full game.

It won't I believe. If I remember correctly that mode only effects relevant small monsters as otherwise it's hard to make the move sets work.
