Measure the current.Many reasons for tripping.
1. High current.
2. Brake not operate.
3. Motor fault.
4. Relay malfunction.
5. Fuse blown. Etc.
Operate hoist removing power fuse. Just check the function of contactor brake. Check step by step and trace the fault.
