Is Prince Christian’s suit (balcony appearance) actually grey or brown?????
It looks more brown to me… but under sunlight it has a grayish something to it…
A very light brown with grey undertones - if that is a thing! He wore brown shoes, so I assume the suit is brown. Hard to tell, as you say,
Im a guy, but I love watching their couture collection of dresses. ❤❤❤❤
Men's clothing, like Prince Christian's suit was very nice too.
Agree re Christian’s suit for the balcony appearance. Made him look elegant but also youthful.
The Princesses gowns are always nice to look at! Nice designs, bright colors, so rich in details!
Belgien Duchess of Brabant and Estelle of Sweden will be amazing Queens
Muy hermosa celebración
I was intrigued by the placement of Princess Elisabeth of Belgium next to Count Felix of Denmark. They are distantly related, but they are both very attractive and by all accounts very nice. He could be to Princess Elisabeth what Prince Philip was to his Princess Elizabeth back in 1947. Right now, the possibility of a royal match is very small considering all the prospective future Queens vs available princes. But, dreaming is free. 😊
You will find there is at least 1 member of Danish Royalty at each table of high ranked Guests, by which I mean other Royals, Excellencies, Lords & Ladies & Family friends. It's not designed as a Match Making exercise, it's designed so that those VIP Guests are treated with the Respect they have by the Danish Royal Family. Princess Ingrid Alexander was seated the right hand of Prince Christian, befitting her Rank, the close relationship as 2nd Cousins once removed & in deference to the Very Close Relationship/Friendship that exists between CP Frederik & CP Haakon of Norway. Princess Ingrid Alexander & Prince Christian have spent a lot of time together while growing up as both their Parents frequently enjoy private time together.
@@vickyRoyalHistory Oh, I know the Danish Royal Family is not a match-making operation. The days of Queen Frederika's Cruise of the Agamemnon are long gone. It was just fanciful speculation on my part, with the stress on fanciful. Definitely no disrespect was intended, if you're interpreting it as that. 🙂 BTW, Crown Prince Frederik is one of Princess Ingrid Alexandra's godfathers and the Crown Princely couple of Norway are two of Prince Christian's godparents, so there's that to account for that seating arrangement as well.
@@BlueSaphire70 Very true! I had forgotten about that extra reason. CP Mary's sister was also there & she's also a Godmother. No, I didn't interpret you as Dis-Respectful in the slightest. It was more that I thought you were wondering why Felix & Princess Elisabeth were seated together. I very much like Princess Elisabeth, she is very much like her Mother, elegant, caring, extremely well educated & Intelligent, warm & no Airs & Graces. She & Princess Ingrid Alexandra, who shares the same attributes, are my favourite young Heirs to their respective Thrones. I don't know enough of Princess Estelle of Sweden to form an opinion of her, but if she takes after CP Victoria, her Mother, I'm sure I'll like her too. Princess Isabella of Denmark, is not included in that category, but I find her incredibly interesting. All the Women's Magazines say how much like CP Mary she is, but I don't see that at all. She is the female version of CP Frederik in my opinion, she has the same temperate personality as him, full of good sense, impatient with the restrictions that come with her position, plays the Fame game as she is required to do with the Media, but like her Father, her smiles for them don't quite reach her eyes. How she will adjust to a life of Royal Service when she turns 18, will be interesting to watch. I much rather prefer the Scandinavian Royal Houses to any of the others.
Her Majesty Queen Margrete - It is She Who is the style icon among of while Danish royals
She never goes unnoticed for sure! I just love this red gown and I like her love for bright colors.
They all looked stunning.
I kind of agree.
Just a couple of guests could have done slightly better
Its tweed, its Sherlock Holmes, i presume, European suit❤❤
Sorry, Benedicte is VERY ELEGANT!!!
Not sure I liked it completely, sorry. The skirt… not really … Don’t get me wrong. It’s not terrible, it just isn’t up to her other style choices on other occasions
@@top10simplythebestthe skirt was not the best choice, you are right
Marie Chantal is the one that missed it! That tiara and her hair! Not!
gray!
It’s a hard one to call. Did you vote in the poll on the community? It’s 51 brown v. 49 grey. Let’s keep voting and see what the consensus is!
Who did crown Princess Marie Chantal wear? I love her gown 🥺
Here go details of her gown:
She was wearing a light pink floor-length gown by Mary Katrantzou (one of her go to designers). The dress was pleated from the waist down and also featured billowing sleeves - pleated from the elbow down - and a ruffled high neck (which is the only part of the gown that I did not really like!).
Hope this is what you were looking for.
Keep watching for more!
@@top10simplythebest THANK YOU
Never hearc of him but its grey
For me it looks gray
Hard one to call. Ram a poll in the community and still no consensus. It’s like 51 to 49%
Grey
Why no UK Royals?
William is fifth cousin to Christian, but they did not attend. I was also expecting them to be there!!
The British royals are invited but they seldom turn up for any Royal events in any of Scandinavian Royal houses. If they do, they send lesser royals. When Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden married, royals from around the world sent prominent royals to participate. The British just managed to send Prince Edward and and his wife. This was way before the prominence they seem to have gained now, due to all the commotion in the British Royal family with Harry wandering off.
Never seems their cup of tea 😂
You can safely say the suit is brown with a darker brown check throughout. It seems the Dutch royal ladies love royal blue in their gown, Maxima's coronation gown was equally spectacular.
Brown suit??? A seagull could see it was grey from a hundred paces away!
Maybe I need to get my eyes checked!!! 🤪
I ran a poll in the community, 51% thought it was brown …
Hahn 😂, let us say
A brownish grey Tartan
Where King Spain??
Unfortunately they did not attend. Shame we didn’t see any members of the Spanish royal family
What a tall man, taller than his father!😮I imagine,he could be a suitable hb for Ingrid Alexandra 🤭
What do you think about the gossip around the Italian Maria Chiara Borbone of the Two Sicilies princess? They were seen together. She recently denied they are involved …. But …. Maybe something there?
Christian and Ingrid Alexander can’t be husband and wife…. That is only if one of them abdicates the throne.
@@top10simplythebest There is nothing about that. She just wish so.
@@top10simplythebest I think it will be a while before Prince Christian acknowledges having a serious girlfriend. The Princess Maria Chiara is of a noble princely family, so it will be a while before anything formal is revealed regarding a relationship with Prince Christian, for both their sakes. He still has a lot to study as well as many princely duties to perform before he can allow himself the luxury of having a formal girlfriend. That is not to say that they can't have a very nice and close friendship. But they are both extremely young, and the more space and time they give each other, even assuming that there is a tendresse between them, the better.
@@BlueSaphire70 Maria Chiara has made the statement, that they are not in a relationship. They are just friends. Her father is the Godfather of his younger sister, Princess Josephine, so they obviously know each other very well. Doesn’t necessarily mean they actually are in a relationship.
Did any of his Australian relatives attend?
Not in this occasion
Yes. From Tasmania- Mary's elder sister Jane and her husband together with 2 nieces . @@top10simplythebest
Has Queen Anne Marie had a stroke.😢
Looks brown to me ….
Not too bright?????
Sorry, I don't understand your comment...
