So I'm a UK citizen with a passport, but I have only just moved "back into" the UK (never lived here in my life) With access to an address where I have now got my bank account (again recently) will I be allowed to apply straight away? or do I need to wait until 185 days have passed? if anyone knows, that would be amazing!

I don’t think so you have to be in UK for 180 days or more to get your license I think the government site says that you need to have a PERMISSION to stay for more than 180 days in UK If you need to apply for a license. If i arrived here just 2 months ago from India, can i still apply for a provisional licence and give my theory test or do i have to wait for 185 days? I heard somewhere that now you can give your theory before 185 days as well but for the practical u have to wait for 185 days?

Wonderful explanation! I currently have Irish licence and it’s almost the same lengthy and difficult process here as well. Attaining a Driving Licence in EU and UK is a big thing, whereas in US and Canada it’s way cheaper and easier process.

Technically you should be because you don't have to revoke your International license until 12 months are up.

Only if you belong to certain countries like the US etc.
