Like Alan Burnett said, it's nice to see Bruce get a little ray of hope, at the end. In movies, books, everything, he never gets his woman at the end. It's a nice change of pace. And, Kathy was an interesting character. Too bad it didn't go any further than this film. With the right writer, this relationship could counter the BS with Diana, Selina, and all the others that, somehow, slipped away. It also helps that they're both scarred by some past parental issues.
The Joker doesn't have to be in every movie. Remember in the past Batman Quad, they changed around villains. even in the animated movies the villains are changed up.

huh. to me, the singer and the 2nd pair of dancers seemed to be the most lifelike animations of the entire batman series, especially the one in the light blue dress anyone else notice how... i dunno, 'overly' smooth the motions were? its like they were running at 60fps while the whole damn show had been going at 30 for the last ten years

DeadFlame It is the same one, during the fourth season of TAS they changed the character designed to match better with the animated Superman cartoon so they could do cross over episodes. It sort of signified the merging of the DCAU so for this, batman beyond (even so he's old in that one), the justice league and Superman TAS Bruce has a cleaner more streamlined design. Personally I kind of preferred the older designs of Batman TAS but wasn't bothered enough by the change to stop watching.

I'm glad Bruce Wayne finally got the girl here; it makes my heart smile. I think it wrapped up a cool film in a good way.
