Those movies can be fun once you embrace the cheesiness. People overreacted at the time because teen girls loved it, and then teen boys had to hate it. I'm glad people feel more chill to enjoy this now...

In the classroom Edward wasn’t lusting for Bella, he was really trying to control himself not to suck her dry. Her blood is like a drug to him. He wanted to kill her.
I'm so glad to see you guys start this journey!! Even though the relationships may seem a bit toxic at times this series is so nostalgic and has a lot of cool mythology. Now even though I don't believe in Stephanie Meyers personal beliefs just as much as I don't J.K. Rowling's... I have to give credit where credit is due and say Meyer took the vampire myth and made it her own. Very creative. Also fun fact that seems to confuse most people, RED eyes means a vampire that drinks human blood, GOLD eyes means a vampire that drinks animal blood and BLACK eyes means a hungry/starved vampire. There is also an unseen eye color in the films where VIOLET eyes means a vampire that feeds on amphibian/fish blood. Also regarding turning... everything about you is enhanced... Before Edward was turned he was very intuitive to those around him and when he became a vampire he gained the full ability to read minds. When Alice was human she had prophetic dreams and when she was turned that manifested as full on premonitions every few minutes or so. When Jasper was human he was very good at influencing by being empathetic, and so when he was turned he gained the full on ability to feel and manipulate others emotions (ALSO Jasper looks like he is in pain not only because he is the newest -but not youngest- vegetarian but also because he constantly feels the emotions of all around him)
Don't give up on this movie franchise. It gets better with every movie. You wont be disappointed.
Fun one, Ladies! 😀I've been a fan of the books since they first came out, and really enjoy what they did with the movies as well. One of the few series that ends stronger than it began. Thanks for sharing! Hope you watch the rest of them too. Btw, the scene at the diner with the lady sitting at the counter with her computer, that was the author. 🤓

😂😂The movie saga series that everyone would love to hate but can’t.
I first saw this as an adult, the mother of a 15 year old and I got more hooked than she did. I’m 61, and still love it. Are they perfect movies, no. They were not even perfect books. I think that whole love at first sight discussion you had was a big reason to why I was drawn to it. This is a first love thing for Edward as much as Bella. He was charged in 1918, and never had feelings for anyone. They are a mated couple. They mate for life. All the couples in the family are mates. This is just the first time they have seen a vampire mate with a human.
By the way, the sun doesn’t bother them, it’s just that people will know they are different because the venom sparkles in the sunlight.
You will learn more about when Rosalie and Jasper was changed in the third movie, but they should have told Alice’s story. In the books they told us that Alice was James’s singer all those years ago, but she was changed by another vampire before he could get to her. Bella learns this from James in the ballet studio and she was able to give that information to Alice who didn’t remember her human life.
The wolves will come on the next movie. Keep watching. Please keep watching.

Unfortunately, the movies weren't able to clearly demonstrate how brightly vampires shine in the sun in the world that is Twilight. The books more eloquently state they shine so brightly in sunlight that it appears as though the vampires catch on fire. As for the couples, you have to look at them like individuals who were blessed to find their soul mates in life who will truly be together for their entire lives or forever for vampires. In the case of Bella and Edward, they are soul mates as well. ❤
I don’t know if anyone mentioned it, but Robert Pattinson sang two songs in this movie. At the restaurant where he is talking about reading minds, and in the ballet studio where he is sucking out the venom. You mentioned about him reading Charlie’s mind. In the books it is explained that he can read Charlie’s mind but it is like it’s on a different frequency. It’s not that clear to him.
Love the reaction, would love to hear the thoughts from the lady in the middle a bit more, because she's got a really quiet voice and we can't hear her very well when she tries to talk. Its easy to talk over someone who doesn't have a very loud voice, so please give her some more time to talk

26:32 Edward would know he got all the venom out by tasting her blood. If it tastes off, venom, but once it’s all out it’ll taste cleaner. I’m pretty sure they can smell the venom too, I’m not certain though. In the books Edward hates the hospital part because the medications change her scent, so we know they smell things like that.

🌱 1) In terms of raw food, perhaps you've heard of sashimi, sushi, steak tartare, ceviche? Also, there are many raw foodists. *Fully Raw Kristina* is a GREAT channel. 2) You did see a shape shifter/werewolf. 3) If you ever see the explicit scenes in "Gen V" or "The Boys" nowadays, you'd understand why "Twilight" has remained such a romantic classic when long, intense stares and great music, beautiful sceneries are all anyone needed to feel that heat.
I would love to see the reactions to the rest of the series New Moon, Eclipse, Breaking Dawn Part 1 and 2. Hopefully others have been mentioning it too. Thanks for the entertainment

Despite its cringe and creepiness, this series is definitely a guilty pleasure. So I would love to see you react to the sequels. To explain about the eyes, when a vampire drinks human blood their eye color becomes bloodshot red, when they drink animals’ blood, it becomes a golden brown coloring, and when their eyes are black it’s because they haven’t drank blood in a while and they need a refill.

Vampires are my favorite monsters and to see Edward is hot! The wolves are cool too. Nice ya'll picked out Anna Kendrick and Rosita from TWD! Teenager puppy love, awwweeeee. I love love stories too. Mostly for teenagers but I saw many people up to 50's in the theater. I was in my 40's first time I saw the series of Twlight. You cracked up about Edward trying to control wanting to bite Bella's neck and ran out of the lab. Also Bella falling so fast for him. Keep watching for more vampires, werewolves and angst love and lust. 😊

You speak about love at first sight, and of course I can understand that. I fell in love with you all from just this video. However, it is love for your commentary and opinions, which brings us to a discussion of the different forms of love. In this first movie, let's be honest, Bella is a horny teenager. You all remember your teenage years, it wasn't that long ago. My female friends have described their teenage years as constantly damp, and I'll leave it at that. God bless you all, and I look forward to more commentary from you. There is one series of movies that I've recommended to several movie reaction TH-camrs, and not one has watched the entire series. It is a movie series that contains 12 different movies, so you all may not be up to the task. These movies and series are ok . The last one I thought it could have ended better. Very teen drama/cheese. But over all ok .
The only good things about these movies are the visuals and soundtrack

The movie that gave vampires a bad rep...
The books were actually very well thought out and detailed. It’s the movies to at turned it into a shirts off all the time angty teen girl flick. These books were read by multi generations. Same with HP and even Narnia. Past down throwing the generations and read to your child like your parents did for you. Not to mention doing such things is sacred and bonds families closer in a healthy west and instilled reading at a young age which is soooo good for the brain.
Everything wrong with the 2010s summed up in one movie saga.
