  • Building a home for our mother, To'ilalo Lee (Papauta Project).

    In June 2018 we went to Samoa to build our mother's house at the village of Papauta, Tuamasaga District.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Stage 1 started on 12 June 2018 and concluded with the completion of the roof on 7 Aug 2018.
    Stage 2 is expected to start before the end of 2018. This second phase will incorporate tiling, electrical, plumbing, room partitions, rendering, painting, kitchen and ceiling.

    This video (#05) highlights the team from New Zealand of Deks Lam, Saloi Mila, Links Lam, and Jacob Lam (even though Jacob now resides in QLD Australia he still thinks the world of NZ).
    Other Kiwis (Lenora Fui'ava, Remona Ah Sue and Krystal Lam-Mila, although not seen at the work site) were heavily involved in the kitchen and behind the scenes.
