  • The power of speech is an expression of the Divine essence of the human soul, and the mysterious 'tzarat' affliction conveys an eternal lesson about how careful we need to be with our words.
Blessings for a joyous Festival of Passover! חג כשר ושמח!
    The Torah portion of Metzora (Leviticus 14 : 1 - 15 : 33) is read on Shabbat HaGadol, Nisan 12, 5784 - April 20, 2024

This indeed is the most difficult of all and I fall short of this commandment. But I will not give up. Yahova is my healer and will cause me to overcome.

Thank you Rabbi. Open your heart in the very deepest way ❤Ya'akov ‭‭
To: The Twelve Tribes in the Diaspora: Shalom!
And think of a ship - although it is huge and is driven by strong winds, yet the pilot can steer it wherever he wants with just a small rudder. So too the tongue is a tiny part of the body, yet it boasts great things. See how a little fire sets a whole forest ablaze! Yes, the tongue is a fire, a world of wickedness. The tongue is so placed in our body that it defiles every part of it, setting ablaze the whole of our life; and it is set on fire by Gei-Hinnom itself. For people have tamed and continue to tame all kinds of animals, birds, reptiles and sea creatures; but the tongue no one can tame - it is an unstable and evil thing, full of death-dealing poison! With it we bless Adonai, the Father; and with it we curse people, who were made in the image of God. Out of the same mouth come blessing and cursing! Brothers, it isn’t right for things to be this way. A spring doesn’t send both fresh and bitter water from the same opening, does it? Can a fig tree yield olives, my brothers? or a grapevine, figs? Neither does salt water produce fresh.
Anyone who thinks he is religiously observant but does not control his tongue is deceiving himself, and his observance counts for nothing. The religious observance that God the Father considers pure and faultless is this: to care for orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being contaminated by the world.

Wow. Makes sense. Funny I ran into this video. I isolated myself. Not wanting no connection with others, or at least I thought it was I running the show. Oh but the events that followed.
Just yesterday telling a teacher from Iglesia de Cristo needing also some correction as well as I of course that I had not liked things about him and deliberately debate him on his beliefs.
GOD SO SPEAK KILLING TWO BIRDS WITH ONE STONE. NOT THAT GOD WOULD KILL BUT HEAL.

Interesting and insightful talk, thank you kindly Rabbi Chaim. My query is though when people say go to councillors for mental and have to tell of the bad and destructive behaviour from a close family member, can be a abusive parent or spouse, and has to tell ofvevents to clear their mental state of mind. Well, surely Hashem is working with them here. Thanks for talk.
