Why was Noah Chosen by God?

The story of Noah is one that is well known by people of all faiths, and every civilization has a world wide flood story. In Genesis 6, verses 5-8, there is a description of the condition of the world and of humans hearts that led to God’s heartache and the consequences to come. The story seems bleak and discouraging, and yet, at the very end, there is a glimmer of hope because one person found favor with God, and that person was Noah.
In this video, Naamah, the wife of Noah, recounts how their marriage came to be and gives us potential insight into how Noah was righteous and found favor with God.
I understand this specific story is not in the Bible, and I am not implying that this is historical fact as to what happened between Noah and his wife. Using sanctified imagination, this story has been prayed over and researched, and it is meant to bring life to show potential examples of how Noah was found to be righteous.

Yes, every civilization has a world flood story that involved a savior of some kind, which is very interesting when you look into it. Many civilizations have stories of giants and men of renown, so that usually leads to more questions: such as were the stories stolen from somewhere; or are they memories? The book of Enoch is a highly contested book that I hear talks about the Nephilim and may be an interesting read.
I would encourage all of us to stay curious when talking with people who have differing opinions and ideas. Ask lots of questions to help understand their point of view and that will help with the conversation
