I don't think either sex does more than the other, and I know I hate it when people do it so I never do it. I'm a male.

The bad part about being a woman this beautiful and famous at that time, most man see you only as an object. Even Godard himself treated Anna really bad, and used to betray her lots of times throughout their relationship. That's really sad.
And it's even more sad knowing this didn't change over time, things keep being the same nowadays, but at least some women rights are now conquered.
    Rest in peace Anna.

I'm really tired of men like you who think women should all be pleasant, quiet, pretty little things, like we're some kind of product you can pick off of a shelf. When we are harassed by obnoxious men on the street, the expected response is to nod, smile and keep walking. Though I find her exquisite, the suggestions you make about women are chauvinistic.

I loved this interview, interviewer and interviewee, but after revisiting it through comment section I can see how some women can find the interviewer sexist but if he has this style with everybody then he is by definition, not. I think these kinds of conversational interviews are pretty rare nowadays and it was quite nice to see. Even in podcasts people don't interview and converse like these. It just seems very little boundary between the two and freedom to indulge deeper into psyche like "friends".
