I feel like Blake Griffin is gonna be underrated in the future. All of his highlights and most remembered moments are him dunking the ball, in the earlier part of his career, and I fear he gonna get remembered as a just a dunker that never grew past that. But we all know he eventually developed into a great all around player.
He gets no love? He was drafted ahead of MJ and still was considered "worth it". That's about as much love as a player can get. That, along with being in the 96 Dream Team. He probably would've been on the original Dream Team too if he had his US citizenship. To be widely considered a top 3 Center of all-time (some even say #1) isn't underrated.
@@MistaWordz I feel that Hakeem was kind of underrated for a long time due to the Media who had way more control back then. Since the breakout of Social media and Platform such as TH-cam he do gets his credits so I agree with you that he isn’t as underrated. Moses Malone is tho
Great vid. I never heard of Walt Bellamy. I know about the last 2(Bob Lanier & the Great Elvin Hayes). OK ending. I wanted to see some D.Coleman & Kenny Anderson highlights(I miss the 90s NBA)
@vusizwe dlamini no way. He stopped playing basketball cuz it was too easy for him. He’d beat Jordan, Kobe and lebum in a 3 on 1 game easily. Nick calathes might give him a run for his money though
My favorite #1 pick is Danny Manning most people don’t know who he is but he was drafted in 1988 he a 2x All star and 6 man of the year he was a beast at Kansas.
c-webb was always in the discussion for the hall of fame, but gets overshadowed by other candidates, he can be included in a top 20 to top 15 list of candidates but gets cut off when it comes to the top 10 list of candidates that should be included and yeah RINGS is a plus for a player to be included.
well in c webbs case it isn´t about his play or his lack of rings for why he is not in the hall of fame . i think the reason why he hasn´t been iducted yet is because he was involved in a scandal during his time in michigan where i think he accepted a large sum of money to play for michigan
@@atribecalledlen3567 he's probably a heavy stat head. Guys don't like him bc he was an iso volume shooter with meh percentages. A dumb reason to discredit someone especially considering what he accomplished but whatever
Chris Webber was amazing not understated whoever really understands basketball knows how good he was also Lanier but they are not mentioned when you talk of all time greats cuz there are better players then them and I hate when you only talk about Stats and numbers... it doesn’t show really how good a player really.
I don’t consider C-Webb underrated. I think he gets his fair share of recognition. Altho I would admit it’s surprising he’s not in the HoF (especially considering the seemingly “low bar” now a days).
I was just looking at that not to long ago. I missed that big time. I always thought it was just the 94-95 draft. That was just 4 years after. I stop watching ball a little in 99 anyway after Jordan left
Derick Coleman should have been one of the greats. I remember him being really strong and pushing Karl Malone around. I was really young when I saw him play and I must say the man hand court generalship out there. He never challenged himself all his teams fucking sucked, Patrovic died in a car accident he was stuck with Kenny Anderson. Derick could fuck up Micheal Jordan if he wanted toooo, He lost interest nobody believed in him ? He never got his own team again. He was a bitter man who would tell his team mates "Fuck You" This man was Tough as nails. I swear to god he could rock any one out there on any given night. Bad luck career :(
Let’s forget those ancient time players. For those selected after 1980, Chris Webb is the most underrated for his absence from HOF. His championship ring was criminally robbed by David Stern.
How could they've been underrated if they've been chosen as the number 1 pick overall? They became number one pick because of the hype they made before the draft that's why the media rated them so high that they were chosen over everyone else...how could they've been underrated then?...
zion williams and anthony davis "cant miss"? more like cant play. Having great potential does not cut it. You have to play games, lots of games to pay off and be great. note: Wilt Chamberlain averaged 48.1 minutes per game one season, averaged 45.8 mins/game, 75 games per season over 14 years. If you want to consider great players who were limited by injuries, then I suggest you need to look into Gus Johnson. not sure how you consider Bells Bellamy, Bob Lanier, and the Big E as "under rated".
Where is Kwame Brown?? He won like 3 rings with MJ and then he went to LA and won 2 more with Kobe. He is obviously the best number 1 pick and most underrated.

he not underrated
No he didnt
This era of cant play d and a of cant avg 10reb yes he is good. But shawn kemp looks better every bust
tor howell Blake is better than Shawn Kemp.
Blake is an overpaid bum whose career highlight was dunking over a kia. he's a legitimate bust.
Anybody going to mention Brad putting MJ on a poster 4:40?
Been trying to find the clip but can't anywhere.
daniel button They probably trynna hide the fact that it happened lol
A center dunking on a shooting guard is not that big of deal even if it’s MJ
Al-Amin Abbott wdym? it’s right here it isnt hidden. LeBron tried to hide it when a college dude dunked on him so i dont wanna hear it
Marty Coleman Clearly was joke and I don’t care.
It's a 7 foot tall center dunking over a shooting guard.
Wilson you should have put ur favourite player Andrea bargnani on here
No shot
TRAVESTY!!
what was he thinking?? lmao
Lol yes😂
Bargnani actually is underrated. He was a good shooting big ahead of his time
It's ok to breathe
Thats chinese phrasing taking over bruh
Do the greatest wasted talents please
I say Hakeem Olajuwon. Dude gets no love and he's one of the Greatest to ever do it

@@yvans. Moses was crazy underrated. So were players like Bernard King and Adrian Dantley, but neither of them were #1 picks.

Video idea: Top 10 Greatest Players That Never Got Their Numbers Retired
This was an original idea for a video that I hadn’t seen before. I’ll for sure be watching more of your videos
I feel like this will be deandre ayton as he will most likely just be overshadowed by luka and trae
Never been this early! Cheers Wils!

John Weiner he trash

@Dywane Carter did you do your math
Great vid!
For me its Cwebb. Can score, rebound, assist. So much fun to watch
deandre ayton will be in this discussion
Because his playing in the wrong team
@@kurtowen5249- It's because he doesn't shoot 3s. Everybody is expected to spam 3s now. Even 7 foot tall 300 pound centers.
fun fact: did you know in the 90's people would call glenn robinson "Consistency" for how COnsisten he was
You should have put Roy Tarpley on this list as well. He was an Awesome Power Forward. He won sixth man of the year for the Dallas Mavericks
Best sports channel out.
Do a video of the top 10 players list, from each decade. 1950s to the 2020s
Bogut should have been on here
Lowkey
Bogut’s so underrated he didn’t even make the underrated list.
Can’t even get love from his own teammates... th-cam.com/video/JpzmT1kqluc/w-d-xo.html

Two things are hurting Webber, his prime was relatively short. His college scandal at Michigan.
Do a most overrated #1 draft picks 🤣
Easily Allen Iverson and Dwight Howard for me.

Beef history: Wilson Sy vs Wes Unseld
RIP Wes Unseld
RIP to the legend
Wilson Sy Omg just saw this. RIP Wes 🙏
U forget about blake Griffin n Tim Thomas Jamal mashburn n Eddie Jones...
Brand would have been much better with the accolades if two top 5 players at his position were in the same conference at the same time.
Do a vid on billy owens
Injuries are a reoccurring issue imagine if these players had the sports science of today’s athletes
I think Ralph Sampson should get some sort of mention here...

Look at Marks numbers in his prime. 25ppg scorer for years on 50 percent from the field. He got fked over.
Web was traded after 1 season after being drafted number 1 due to issues with the coach... Yeah like that will happen today
Bob Lanier look like he could be Andre Drummonds papa to anyone?

James Worthy a pretty underrated 1st.
I don’t think Webber is in the HOF because of his scandal with university of Michigan and he has petty beef with other former nba players
