    hey we purchased and restored this motel in may 26 if you book on our website tell them you saw this TH-cam link for a discount. We want anyone who used to enjoy this old Hatteras to come back and stay.

    place is amazing....really enjoy drivng along the beach and access roads around the point

    Remember what it was like to live in a free country? I am old enough to but sadly my grandkids will only hear the stories of what a great and special place this country used to be. Damn shame.

    Spent many summers fishing this exact locatin with my father. We camped at Buxton and were there for 17 summers fishing and camping jsut across the dunes at thepoint. I couldn't begin to imagine the number of flounder and blues we caught on lite takle. Great video post and a reminder of some of the best times in my life! Thanks for posting this classic on youtube!

    @dalehilltopfarm Thanks..It was a part of my growing up too.. We used to occasionally give campers rides to the point.. Did you know that the environmental groups are step by step shutting this entrire beach down to fisherman and other recreational access? Look for "Piping Mad" documentary on TH-cam.
