Josh, my buddy in highschool had the exact truck. He had big problems with the oil pan. They are notorious for getting pin holes in them, and very difficult to see the actual leak. We taped a white rag to the pan, and let it drip. That's where we found the hole. I hope this helps you! Cool truck! I absolutely loved driving my buddies.

I had an 88 4X4 Extra cab base model that I bought new. Best truck I ever owned.. That 22RE engine was just great. However at 120000 miles it dropped a valve which killed the motor. Popped the head of the valve clean off.. thank you Scott....some would argue with you on this, no meds, no issues, no problems, no barn...and they just keep moving through the pastures! Thanks buddy....I agree...they are fat and happy! Especially this time of year most cows are very deconditioned
Hey Josh, love watching your videos and gleaning information on your life there in North Carolina. You did mention this episode that this barn dominium possibility might happen, but I sure wish you would’ve given Kyle of R&R buildings a chance to have a better building, and I think it more sturdy building too Being in the area that you’re in. Just my two cents. Now I know you’ll do whatever Josh and the girlfriend will do.

I didn't want a wood pole barn, my stepfathers pole barn is falling down due to the moisture content here and humidity in NC. Maybe you'll see me and Kyle sometimes soon together! Wooooo!!
Josh, thanks for all the great content. I’ve been learning loads that we’ll be taking to our homestead. If we can ever get our city houses sold. Not criticism, just curious. It appears you left the tractor out in the pasture, near the hay, overnight. That makes sense, in that you don’t have to drive it all the way from the shop area. Making that trip on the quad is much more efficient. I know that tractor is temporary, but if it was your TYM, would you sill leave it out? I’d be concerned about theft or vandalism, and exposure to the elements. Would a small portable shelter be a good idea if it were to stay out for several days? Beyond the obvious of tractor care, what are your thoughts on some these less obvious points?
I leave the tractor with the cows while bale grazing.....and yep...driving back and forth across the pastures is not cool....I live in a great place where a vandal would have to walk nearly a mile to get to the machine. Rest assured...it's secured....but I'm way back in the woods, Lazy people don't walk 1/2 mile to break stuff in most cases
