  • Coach Corey Wayne discusses how to handle situations where other men may become jealous of you or your success with other women and try to provoke a fight. Why it's always best to use self deprecating humor and not take insults personally to diffuse potentially awkward or dangerous situations. Why it's always best to assume that deep down, everyone you encounter wants to be your friend and be like you; therefore, make it easy for them.

Respect is when you get in a fight because you aren't a coward and afterwards you tell everyone, "I bet that guy has never had his hands headbutted so viciously in his life!!!!"

I disagree to a point. The problem I have is guys thinking I am just some hippie. Guys who actually are older than me who have been farther then me think I am just some kid. I try to say hi to them and they just turn away. I remember I was riding the train with my buddies who are the crew. They were testing out the New Amtrak Locomotives and giving tours to congressmen. We were in Washington Union Station so there was a lot going on. While were waiting to leave at 655, the conductor and I went to check out the new locomotive. We were polite, but were colded out. In their eys, it was "Im dealing with senitors, I have no time for some dumb train crew. Think we would ever get fine wining and dining (that is what they were doing)? My point trying to be is while some people envy you and hate themselves, others likely think they are better then you and would HATE to be you, and want nothing to do with you. I just got in trouble in school today and was trying to explain to the Dean that one must negotiate the respect. I said that giving people respect that they don't earn or deserve causes them not to respect you, because your respect is plentiful, this, non valuable. I said that I must negotiate the respect and communicate I am worthy in order to get respect.

Basically bullying in general both in school as a kid and maybe at a bar or wherever as an adult to me is the bully is so insecure and thinks so little of themselves that in order to make themselves feel better they always beat up on people they see that have weak points in order to put someone below them. For me in school as a kid I was ALWAYS called names having to do with my weight, but I never let it get to me, hell I actually openly admitted that I was fat. Basically at that point, if they see me sat calling myself fat, what material are they going to have that I didn't already use on myself? None. Also, through school I had and still generally do have what women call "resting bitch face" and I've been told several times through school that I always had a look on me that just screamed "fuck with me and I WILL fucking kill you" which I guess was just another form of asshole repellent. Only bad side to that though is it made me look unapproachable to people who I may have either had no problem with or females.

Cory is the truth. "Little man" lol I grew up in Oakland CA and LA so we didn't have much racial hatred but I can relate due to the black on black gang hatred we had. All your videos are on point my brother.

Corey, I agree with most of what you said here, but I don't believe that the guy that hit you with the ball repeatedly respected you... unless he apologized for it later. I believe in deescalation at first too, but if someone persists, then you gotta defend yourself or you're being weak.

Patience is better than pride.. I rather do things to respect myself, rather than expecting to be respected. Usually we felt the need of respect from others who are actually assholes who never mind, like here in my environment today. Lol. Everytime I work I keep telling my self, "I dont need your(my boss) respect, idiot." =)

I'm so sorry you had these encounters with black guys. I have issues like this with my own brother. You do not have to be white to be disrespected by some ignorant people. However, there are more good blacks, whites and others than the are bad. For every bad black guy, I know thousands of good black guys. Ultimately, I know a lot of mean people in life though. Just jealous or hate me for being loving or intelligent and black guys that are wealthy or broke, dont like bigger girls or girls that cannot take care of them. Good info. I would love to join forces with you. I motivate too. www.lattemotivates.com

Like your intentions and ideas, could do without all the curse words. In the moment of excitement an occasional curse word is perfect. There are so many better words out there anyway :)
