Walkabout Creek Hotel, bad clutch, Crocodile Dundee. Episode 71
After 370,000kms, the clutch in our motorhome has said goodnight! Trouble is, we are in the middle on nowhere!
Help is at the ready however. We limp down to our friends at the Walkabout Creek Hotel in McKinlay in outback Queensland. Mick Dundee would not be beaten with a clutch repair.....so either will we! 🐊 🔪 🍺

Perhaps when (if ever) you are finished travelling Oz, you should consider a career in film making? You certainly have a flair for it! Another captivating episode, great stuff!! Thanks! ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Funny you say that Julia! I'm currently planning the launch of our own multimedia company. Watch this space!

I can’t believe you saw Mr. Croc! 😮😂👍🐊 For all the miles I did, I’ve yet to see that mythical beast in the flesh! 🤦🏻♀️😂
Stirling effort on the clutch mate! 😂👍🏁 What a character Frank is and an iconic pub indeed! One Powerball! 🤞😂🍀 Your dad jokes are so bad that they make me laugh because they’re so bad! 🤣 Carry on crew!
Thanks Rozalyn. You know how great Australian adventure can be!
Well done on another classic. And great job on the clutch mate. $$$ saved there for sure

Thanks for all your fantastic videos from troughout Australia.
This episode reminds me of the the first line of of the song Dreamworld by Midnight Oil:
"The Breakfast Creek Hotel is up for sale..." My favorite Australian Band by the way.
Good to see that the original car is in a roadworthy condition. Still or again - however.
I´ve seen the first two Crocodile Dundee´s more than a dozend times in the last 37 years and i always discover a new new detail.
Take care & cheers from a subscriber in Cologne, Germany
Andy

Midnight Oil happens to be one of my favourite bands too! Dreamworld is a great song!! Croc Dundee is also one of my favourite movies 🐊 🗡 🎥

@@laine-e4r NZ, USA, to Australia! Wow, well travelled
Good old Donald made the video! Deb and Frank were great to chat with during our flooding event 2023. The truck ride was awesome maybe we will swing by for a try?
Riding in Mick Dundee's iconic truck was certainly a moment I will never forget!!
🗡
🐊
@@campwinnietravellingaustralia honestly I’m jealous! We might stop in again and try for a ride. Donald he’s been there since 2017! That should count for something.
...'"what a croc!" 😂
🐊 😂 🐊
@@campwinnietravellingaustralia I was SO relieved to see you got a full clutch kit - You had me worried at first when you said you were going to replace the throw-out bearing...Zero sense in going to all that trouble without replacing everything else. You probably had a few 1000kms left on it; but by God didn't you get value for money from the old clutch!? Good price too - that's what they ALL should be! - Had to buy a new heavy duty exidy clutch kit for my Nissan 'Z, and cost me over a grand! - Just another ripoff, from brand to brand hey?!
@@SteveMack yes it was so cheap for ours. No idea why!!
@@campwinnietravellingaustralia Yes, Good value!
Spent some time with Frank and Deb,, and now I class us as friends…love and good luck from Annie and H….broom broom
They are awesome publicans!
