they are actually made upside down. Top bun, mayo, lettuce, "chicken", bottom bun, then you wrap it, holding the bottom, which is why it unwraps with the top facing up. At least, that's how they did it in 1987 when I worked there.
When I worked at McDs we had frozen patti fights, ;locked the assistant manager in the cooler numerous times and once put towels on burgers in place of meat just to see if they actually inspected the burgers. They didn't. Too much fun. 1981. Also, they had a poster in the breakroom breaking down the company cost for everything. A hamburger cost corporate .003 cents to make and they were selling for 75 cents at the time. The poster made me want to quit. I saw the money they were making and how little I made. LOL.
That happened to coworker of mine while we are at Wendy's. It was Jr. Bacon with now patty, just a BLT. He slammed the sandwich on the counter and said "Where's the beef?!". 😂
Please consider the individuals unnecessarily killed for sandwiches. Other animals value their life and freedom as much as any human does. Most places offer plant based options. ✌️
