I Predict that There would be airdropped stationary solar charging -recharge stations. Which would also serve as a diagnostics and mission data relay point.
They would look and act like harmless animals, like monkeys or something

What do theses robots run on? gas or battery power?
Crazy expensive DoD toys. An elaborate rube goldberg solution looking for a problem. What happens when they run out of juice mid-mission or get bogged down in a swamp? What is the battery life anyway? It seems like an autonomous track vehicle in most cases would be more effective and way cheaper.

It took weeks of watching videos of big dog before i could believe it wasnt two people in a suit bent over.
These robots look like they could easily be disabled with a spray can of paint. Just paint over the optics.

I know the militaries think tanks are full of people with low IQ, but i wonder if theyve ever thought of each combat soldier having a robot dog to carry his equipment. Like a knight with his squire.

If you are on patrol in enemy territory .... a robot mule with a 90db loud engine following you in close distance ... LMAO I rather carry an extra 50 pounds than some one with a airborne constantly giving my position away .

It seems to me they should be modelling the type of mobility used by kangaroos which are capable of high speeds over rough terrain and can leap over high fences with ease! Perhaps the Australian military might come up with a prototype

Did you WATCH the same video i did? They show one with wheels...
Much better for rough terrain, stairs, etc. Just more versatile. Combine with wheels to get the efficiency on smooth roads too.
