    I worked on the Element at the East Liberty Plant. It was a really well run factory and BMW copied it and hired away managers.

    I’m a new member of the Element Club!
    I love that I will be able to evacuate (fire season in northern CA) with my chickens, cats & child!
    Longing to figure a build that I can keep one seat down and the other seat up….

    Comment the things you love , whether you are an owner or not.
    Things I love:
    1: The boxy Utilitarian Design - I love wagons & Hatchbacks
    2: The suicide/barn/butterfly Door design - allows for movements and camping experience
    3. The Trunk open - Camper Truck bed and hatch opening great for tailgating and transport
    4. The AWD system - it worked well in snow, rocks, dirty, gravel especially for an AWD
    5. Sound System - Not bad for a almost 2008 sounds system even though is really basic

  • @rjrocks6345
    @rjrocks6345 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    I hear people talk about how great these vehicles are and can go very high mileage. Yet, I see vids of people also making very major expensive repairs to them. What's the deal?

    • @projectkod
      @projectkod  ปีที่แล้ว

      from I know, one of the expensive repairs is the starter. because it is very hard to get to. other than that may be something rust related in the suspension area if you live in the eastern states or country that salts their road after a snow storm. On the video you've watched, which repairs were they repairing?

      Oil leaks, 02 sensor, catalytic converter, alternator, seems to be common problems.

    • @projectkod
      @projectkod  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@rjrocks6345 all those are just wear and tear honestly. The Catalytic convertor is because people steal them. That's usually along with the o2 sensor.

      The car is so unique and usable that after you’ve owned one for a while you will spend money to keep it alive. Repairs that would condemn anything else are a no-brainer for your Element. They don’t break more than any other Honda, but they get fixed more.
