Agreed!! So funny how most people don’t even know the difference between the crappy 1 lows and the OG 1 lows. Lol.
they released the OG Low in 2015, but all sit on shelves. I managed to cop Bred, Chicago, Shadow, and Royal easily but the leather were whack (except Chicago).
Funny enough, these aren't actually given the proper OG treatment. The swoosh should be much larger than this. As Uncle Jack said, the pairs in 2015 were actually OG, with the larger, fatter swoosh.
Psyched to get them, first time getting exclusive access.
Jordan Brand needs to stop doing whatever they're doing with the new version of the AJ1 and only make OG-cut lows from now on, these look way more streamlined and classy. Can't wait to try and snag them, they'll make for a good semi-formal sneaker.
Love how you keep it real. A lot of people know this shoe will sell out quick. But you dont over sell it and say it's amazing quality when it's only just decent like you said!

The only thing I didn't like is the smaller Swoosh.
A small difference from the og pair is that there are only 7 lace holes while the og has 8 but it looks great nonetheless

Sneaker market slowly coming back to normal . Only 60 over retail for an early pair.. prob gon be like 20 over retail if we strikeout after release. Think by summer 2022 sneaker game will go back to normal with GRs at least.

These look very dope. I'm surprised the price is so low in the after market. I expected these to do AJ1 high Mocha numbers out the gate. I love jordan 1 lows. I might pull the trigger now. The price will fall after release day, but you have to strike at the right moment. Decisions, decisions. Lol. Dope review man. Love the still photos as usual. Too clean not to attempt to cop, but I’m used to L’s from SNKRS so not expecting much, although I would expect Nike/JB to put THE MOST premium quality leather on these ‘85 OG releases.

The swoosh is not as big as it should be. Take a look at the retro OG lows from 2015. That’s how it should be

I have the neutral grey 85, should I brother trying to get these as well or should I just skip these? I love low top Jordan 1s both OG and modern, so I’m debating on getting these.
Get them, these haven’t retroed in years
i copped both and plan on wearing the lows more to be honest. won’t feel as bad destroying them after paying so much for the 85s.
@@skrtskrttah8443 The 85s are super nice, but you definitely gotta put in at least a month or two of constant wear to start breaking them in nicely. I wore mine when I first got them for 2 weeks straight, and that was barely enough to start creasing the toebox.

Swoosh unfortunately looks like its malnourished and deformed when you pull photos side-by-side from previous OG low retros
I hope they bring back the retro OG lows. Prob won’t tho since they’re making these now.

These aren’t even the TRUE OG “cut/form” 🥴 they’re still dope but hate how this is what’s being referred to as the “OG cut” now.
Swoosh needs to be bigger, 8 shoelace holes and the stitching is even off on the forefoot panel

Just got mine. I’m keeping em but the damn laces are too long! If you tie em with a bow even at the top hole like your did it still looks goofy to me hah. I’m rocking with excess lace in the shoe like your other pics. Also the box is too big. I got size 11 but must of got a 13 or 15 box. They came all upside down and all over the place 🤦♂️

Is the leather quality similar to the 2015 Chicago OG low or the 85 High Neutral Grey?
It’s definitely not like the highs. Just feels like a semi soft, sort of thin cut.

Well, if you look closely that swoosh on the side is a tad smaller than the OGs. And it is missing an eyelet, the OGs have five eyelets and not four. Sleep. No Thanks
Am i the only one that likes the smaller swoosh compared to the oRiGInAL obese swoosh? It looks so much more streamlined with the low silhouette
