That dialogue for Gulliman was so appropriate it made me pause the video for a second. Also, Jason Mamoa as Angron instead of Jagathai Khan is actually an interesting thought. A lot of people want him to be the Khan, but I can see him being Angron.
I think Magnus needs a younger voice as his failing WAS a lack of wisdom. He was highly intelligent and well studied, but deception and his own naivete were the undoing him him, his home, and his sons.
I like most of them (definitely not all of them, I would need to hear Laurie hear Dorn's lines) but still I feel that for any primary voice acting you still need a little bit of SFX to make then sound a bit more supernatural, the kind of voice you don't just hear but feel.
I love how they didn't even pick fan casts for Horus and Lorgar because their audiobook voice actors were just so damn perfect. Also I honestly just can't see Optimus for Ferrus. Optimus is just too inspirational and Ferrus was known to be a cold dick head to his men. Honestly the voice from the audiobooks should be Rogal as well. The rest were perfect for me
I want Charles Dance, the guy the video has to play Big Red Chewing Gum, to play Malkador. Charles has such an air old Old Man Authority baked into him and I feel he could really blossom as one of the greatest minds behind the Imperium. He has such a force of personality that I beleive he's more suited for someone who doesn't fight, whose threat is more their mind and domineering presence rather than someone that can just kill your ass.
Huh....I don’t really see Keith David as Sanguinius. But honestly, I think he could voice ALOT of other 40k characters and make em sound awesome. Also, your pick for Sebastian is genius!
I always see him as the voice of Spawn so I think he's better fit for Conrad Curze, The Changeling or Rylanor, the latter one because I feel it would be a perfect mix of sorrow, anger and nobility
I hope you watch nicho 40k's headcanon voices vids! I may be biased because he's the first guy to make these kinds of videos (that I know of) but the quality and choice of voices for his interpretations are top notch!
Maybe they could invite a Mongolian VA who could speak English with a native regional Mongolian inflection to voice the Khan. I imagine the VA has to be a smoker to nail the raspy subsonic whisper - like the Mongolian throat singer, and Batzorig reminds me of my Math teacher who's a heavy smoker.
On a rewatch, I also think Patrick Stewart should have been magnus, and lee should have been Guilliman Also although I can’t figure out which one it would be, I have to think that Max von Sydow should’ve been one of them…
i know its herasy to say this but i dont think james eral jones would be a good pick for vulkan, at least any more if you watched that god awful, souless abomnation 'live action remake' of the lion king you can hear his age in his voice i think he might have aged out of the role. now keath david, the voice of Goliath, the single male voice that has come closest to turn us all gay. now i could see him as vulkan all the aspects, of the big green

Seeing as GW has been hiring creators recently, tet should hire the voices of certain TTS Primarchs.
